Lai Wah Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Sydney

Most disgusting Chinese food I ever had in my life! We ordered fried rice, salt and pepper squid, seafood chow mein and sesame prawn toast. The fried rice was literally old rice that was thrown in a pan with one liter of oil and a few left over vegetables, no spices, no salt, no taste of anything. The salt and pepper squid was EXTREMELY oily, it was so oily that now I have stomach ache and feel extremely sick. The seafood chow mein with "crispy noodle" ( I don't even think you should call that chow mein) because the ones I had before are not even a bit close to what you guys gave us, again... The food was so plain and bland, it needs more spices, more Chinese flavour! We feel so upset, we spent over $60 and couldn't even eat the food, it was chucked in the bin and now we will have to order again from somewhere else. Very disappointed! By the way, only good thing we had was the caramelized peanuts that they gave...

Sorry but my wife and I didn’t enjoy at all. We spent just over $100 and couldn’t eat much of it. San Choy boy had no flavour what so ever, like the taste of nothing. honey chicken isn’t even honey chicken. It’s like some sort of dried sour off flavoured honey lemon plum chicken. We both actually had to spit it out to be honest. Me and my wife eat out very often and eat all kinds of cuisines from all over the world. We love food. This restaurant needs to hire an actual chef because I could 100% do a better job at home and I’m not even Asian or a chef. 0 passion, 0 love or care in this food. I hate to give such bad feedback but Unfortunately it was my first and also my last time from this...

First and last time ever!!!Ordered a take away sweet and sour chicken and pork for dinner.The dish had no sauce or vegetables in it,just dry rolled chicken/pork pieces.Lucky we ordered spring rolls and I was able to use some of the sauce to add to my dish.Worst sweet and sour I've ever had.Our other food was beef and black bean,and vegetable spring rolls which were nice.The man that took our order couldn't understand any English so we had to keep pointing to what we wanted from the menu he gave us and he still couldn't understand.The while experience was beyond...
