Crust Pizza Sans Souci — Restaurant in Sydney

I really didn’t want to leave a negative review but this store has been a let down since it became our local. There have been three separate occasions where we have been waiting on a full or partial refund and have never once received one. The manager insisted he had processed a specific refund two weeks in a row but as suspected, that wasn’t true as it was never received, which leads us to believe the manager was being dishonest at least once but probably twice.

The store has run out of key/main ingredients like chicken for a chicken pizza and sent us a pizza without it instead of just cancelling order as we kindly requested. They also don’t have/use the ingredients that the product lists and have sent us the cheeseburger pizza without the burger sauce every single time. When we finally asked if they could please use the sauce that is advertised, they told the driver to tell us they don’t have it, instead of contacting us to actually ask what they could do to rectify the error.

We have tried really hard to look past these continuous mistakes and possible forgetfulness when it comes to returning money for cancelled orders but after last night it is not worth the risk anymore. We've been buying from Crust Sans Souci for some time... not sure what's going on there though because I suspect there's some Shrinkflation happening with their Pizzas, their extra large pizza now is what I remember a large to be. In my last order, which was today, I ordered two deserts; Chocolate Brownie Bites and the Choc Hazelnut Scrolls, I got the order and the delivery guy helpfully mentioned they didnt have them and is it okay to take a chocolate moose instead? I said no and got a refund, but then when we started eating and opened the Scrolls, we discovered they were burned! They burned them and thought nothing of giving them to us burned anyway! It's enough that their fantastical blackforest crumble was removed from their menu they now have no quality control either! Very disappointing. MOULDY food at Crust Pizza Sans Souci

I’ve tried to give Crust Pizza the benefit of the doubt, but this last experience was the final straw. They consistently slack off when it comes to getting orders right. This time, they sent me a pizza with completely wrong toppings AGAIN! It’s like they don’t even read the order properly.

And the garlic bread? Mouldy. Yes, actual mould on the bread. I couldn’t believe it. When I called to complain, the manager’s solution was to replace the order—fair enough, but it took over an hour to arrive. By then, the replacement wasn’t even worth it.
