This was an extremely disappointing experience for me and my family. We were excited to eat KFC for dinner like we occasionally do. Normally we’d eat at Hurstville Westfield centre(3.8 star, pretty good service imo, I think it’s worthy of a 4 star), but since this was a bit closer today and I figured that maybe the 2.9 star wouldn’t be that bad, an exaggeration so I believed, so I thought we’d try it out. It’s KFC after all, all of my KFC that I ate before never really fell that much below expectations. But boy was I naive.
The food was made terribly, the extra lettuce they added didn’t even make it into the burger, they just threw it into the wrapper, so when I started eating the food it drop everywhere onto my clothes and the table. Same situation with the extra sauce added, it made the wrapper, my hands, and my face all sticky, a disappointment and uncomfortable to eat. Furthermore, when we received our food, the burger, nuggets, chips and other food was barely warm, it felt like they were premade or something and just added our extras. One of the burgers, a double tender that we’d ordered, somehow became a single tender. Imagine my surprise and disappointment. The chips, which is one of my favourite parts about KFC, also didn’t even feel like they were salted at all. They weren’t crispy at all, nor had even a hint of aroma, just a soggy mess. A terrible 2/10, for contrast, my usual rating for KFC would probably be a 7-8/10.
The service was quite bad, they forgot a couple of our items, didn’t place extra napkins and spoons in our bags like other KFCs usually do despite a relatively large order of ~$50, the dining area also appeared to be be quite unsanitary, my family didn’t even feel like eating there. 3/10
Overall, one of the worst KFCs I’ve ate at. If you’re planning on going here, please don’t. It’s honestly a waste of your money. Either go to some other KFC nearby or any other place, it’d be loads better than this slop of disappointment you can find here. That’s what my sincere...
Read moreIf all we can do anymore is "delivery" or "drive through", throw up our hands and surrender.
I'm an old-fashioned customer that walked in and tried to order at the counter.
Sadly, VERY inexperienced staff left by herself at the counter struggling with an array or orders: my counter order, a number of them done at the terminals and the constant stream of delivery drivers. The printer had been unserviceable for a while (I had no problem remembering order No.) but a number of other customers had no idea what their order number was when (eventually) food came out. My (simple?) order of a 3 piece original box took 25 minutes to deliver, when it was any utensils, napkins or the "wipe" were not included. There were a number of customers standing waiting with a similar level of frustration, one stated to me "this is what the service is like all too often". I'm an infrequent KFC customer.
However, The store was a mess, from outside the front door to most of the floor leading up to the counter.
Management? There appeared to be some more senior staff, however there wasn't anyone that appeared to be trying to steer the team. There appeared to be complete confusion.
After I was served there was a number of apologies regarding my wait, sadly the gentleman offering the apologies added the lies regarding "running out of product". They hadn't, I watched similar orders getting prepared the whole time I sat at the (dirty) table. Tonight's experience was extraordinarily poor, I don't normally provide a...
Read moreOne day before we went to the beach, me and Seamus went to Sans Souci KFC. The finger lickin good fast food franchise fails to fail at San Souci, providing a succulent and delectable experience that supplements any lifestyle. After a short wait, my Zinger Box (undisputed best meal) with an Orange Juice was ready, and the first thing I noticed was the aroma of oil, the sense of sovereignty, and the feeling of pure ecstasy. When I finally ate my meal, I was delighted by the real chicken I tasted, and all of its deep fried goodness. The chips were relatively good, and the potato and gravy is best utilised as a dipping sauce for the wicked wings and burger. Combined with the refreshing release of my cleansing beverage, my stomach was filled and satisfaction maximised. It should be noted that the online orders are normally very unreliable, and sometimes the customer service too.It is for these reasons I have rated KFC San Souci as I did, an overwhelming positive experience tainted by factors independent of the great food. 3/5 - Logan, Chief Financial Officer,...
