Usually great food which is consistently let down by absolutely pathetic service. Last night however was the worst. Ordered a gluten feee pizza as I have coeliac disease of which they are fully aware as we eat there every now and then. Pizza arrived and I immediately queried if it was gluten free - they checked and it was not! No sincere apology just a “sorry we’re really busy” my friend also ordered a gluten free pizza and received a gluten one. My pizza arrived finally 70 minutes after ordering by which time my companions had long finished their meals. It was a birthday celebration as I ticked on the booking online - don’t know why because they didn’t even acknowledge it. As we left I mentioned again to the owner that I was not happy with the mix up - again no sincerity, no offer to reduce the bill, absolutely appalled by the it cavalier attitude regarding the mix up for a coeliac (which I mentioned when booking online). Then today an email to review the restaurant - well here is your review. If I had eaten even a bite of that pizza I would have been sick for days. Read moreWorst restaurant we have any ever been too. Marcella was rude arrogant and unprofessional. She seemed irritated by the fact we had a pram telling us where we could not leave it and not giving us options of where we could. We eventually found somewhere we could squeeze the pram. When she came to take our drinks I asked for bottled water to which she rudely replied yeah that’s coming. She was asking if we wanted alcoholic drinks. I informed her my husband was ordering them downstairs her reply was it’s order and pay as you go! ( thanks Marcella but I didn’t ask). Our pizza came out and was not cut, Marcella insisted it was just the crust that was not cut. Then Marcella was talking to us like we were we her students in a childcare centre. I do not usually leave negative feedback but this lady was unbelievable and unprofessional I ended up leaving the gathering as I could not handle her attitude anymore. Read moreI was a regular customer. Don't bother to order your food online. I decided to order my food online early so I could have an earlish dinner. When I ordered I got a message my food would arrive at 6pm. So when it was half an hour late I decided to call Lipari. What a negative experience. I was told it was on its way, I was then told they would make it straight away. When I questioned why I was just told it was on its way but they also needed to make it, I was then told I should not have ordered by food before the restaurant before it opened.
