In the past I have frequented this cafe but upon recent visits I have noticed that when the owner (woman with long curly brown hair) is not there, the staff do not give a toss about the customers or their service. Easter Saturday I visited with three friends, we ordered pies (requested they were warmed up as we had two pregnant women with us), and a toasted cheese sandwich. All the pies - including the meat pie - were served stone cold. The toasted sandwich also came with ham - which the pregnant women couldn’t eat. No apology for the incorrect orders, just vacant states and slow service. Today we visited again and we were served a raw omelet - the inside of the omelet was totally disgusting and inedible. Inside the omelette was runny and watery and when I took this back to the waitress, her response was “oh this is how we serve our omelettes”. Again no apology, just poor service - the food wasn’t touched or eaten because as I said it was inedible, they didn’t even offer a refund or a replacement meal. I am super disappointed in my recent experiences and don’t believe I will be going back here. I have attached photos for reference taken approx 40 minutes after the food had been served so the egg had...

It has been less than 3 months since opening and on a Thursday morning it was packed and full of buzz inside and out on the footpath. This is the quieter end of Gladesville Road but that means we can be easily lost in the aromas of the breads and the sweet temptations of the baked goods. The coffee by Will & Co comes in their adorably designed cups and is good, with or without some half sugar packets. The almond croissant is the paste-filled, then-baked style and is tasty. The brownie is moist and dark with chunky half-melted choc bits. On the day we visited a plate of mini desserts was available for a photo shoot for the Hunters Hill Street Feast, and by looking at the gorgeously colourful display cabinet, we will be back soon enough to savour every morsel...

Food is good here but I wasn't happy with a recent experience with the staff. I've been coming here for quite some time but not sure if I'll go back. Was overcharged for my meal and only realised once I checked my account an hour later. When I went back to check, the staff did not admit they made a mistake and asked me 'if I already ate the food'? Which I thought was pretty rude. How was I meant to know that I was overcharged because they thought I wanted extra bacon, when I actually said I wanted my bacon well done? Did not appreciate them making me feel cheap, instead of trying to rectify the situation for a mistake they made - it's the principle of the matter, not the cost. It's stuff like this that would lose my loyalty to a place like this....

Friendly and attentive staff and good coffee. The baked goods and bread are great, and the place is well worth a visit for these. However, on a more recent visit I was in the area at about lunch time so dropped by. I ordered a burger which the menu clearly stated was on “our whole meal bun”. Rather stupidly for a business with bakery in its name, the whole meal bun was a standard grocery store hamburger bun. I asked why this was the case and was told they only do their own buns on weekends. I was quite disappointed - the least they could have done would be to have told me this when I placed the order. The meal was otherwise nothing special so go for the baked goods and the bread!

Tried a few pastries, pies and muffins and had coffee here with the family. Really great selection of ready items available and all seemed to be made fresh on premises. Menu also had a few enticing options. Veg pie was my favourite - chunky and tasty and nice flaky pastry. Raspberry muffin was good too - moist and not too sweet. Croissants were nothing special. Serving Will & Co coffee which was good but would have liked a bit stronger.
