NO LOVE CREPE FOR US!!!
Visited this place for the first time tonight.. And it will also be our last. Placed our order - 1 crepe with ice cream to share. We took a seat at one of the tables to wait, and wait, and wait , and wait for our order to arrive. In the meantime, we noticed that the staff were tripping over themselves to fill orders for Ubereats drivers. We counted about 10 Ubereats orders while we sat there waiting for our order. After 20 minutes of waiting, I noticed that a group who arrived after us got their order. I approached the young waitress to ask her to check on our order. She asked the young man who was in the crepe machine who told her he did not have an order for our table. I then saw the young waitress go through their picked orders and she found our order and handed it to the young man. They had obviously given our order to someone else. We asked them to cancel the order, as we were now waiting for over 25 minute for 1 crepe. They offered us a free coffee and the young crepe maker quickly organised our order but I'm sorry to say that they lost us. The crepe was nothing special and as we had ordered one to share, impossible to eat, wrapped up like a kebab. Not worth the $16. They continued to scramble and fuss over the Ubereats orders, as there were 2 or 3 Ubereats delivery guys waiting for the orders. We just felt that they were more interested in fulfilling those orders than those orders for customers who had bothered to turn up to their store. We will not go back. Very disappointed as we like to support local...
Read moreNever been to a worse place! Crepes are so average for the price I mean theyre soggy and bland!!!! We waited quite a while as well when there were only two other people there.... I felt like the staff were just judging me and staring while I was waiting. No smiles, no greetings, no acknowledgement. Bit creepy if you ask me! Go to bayvista instead!!!
Edit: It's amusing how these owner's genuinely think people are trolling? Maybe if you have received over five 1 STAR reviews in the past week from different accounts and different names - you should reflect on the look your business has. I have never gone out of my way to make a google review, but because of my experience well it seemed quite necessary. It looks like they like to play the victim card, oh boo hoo small business during a pandemic hahaha that is no excuse, I love supporting small businesses! The one's that deserve it :) Now this is my first review and first encounter from my experience last weekend but if I had read previous reviews I should have expected this response! How lovely, having petty staff who've got very big heads thinking that someone is out to get them when the honest fact is that they are rude and the reviews are truely spitting facts! No way else...
Read moreHi, Last Friday, we ordered some ice-cream via Ubereats. Despite alerting you on the order about the peanut allergy, the ice-cream was contaminated. Maybe the scoop you used to put into the container had also been used for the other ice-cream containing peanuts???? Whatever the source, my daughter suffered a bad reaction, so that she had breathing difficulties and had to take medication. Thank goodness that we did not have to rush to hospital ER etc. PLEASE EDUCATE YOUR STAFF ABOUT PEANUT (AND OTHER NUT) ALLERGIES, AND BEST PRACTICE BY ENSURING NO CROSS-CONTAMINATION (DON'T USE/MIX SCOOP-SPOONS). Just because it is an e-order (you don't see the customer in person) does not mean a decline in high standards. It is highly likely that one day in Australia, eateries will be successfully sued for serving up something that was not requested, leading to a fatality (recent case in the UK regarding manslaughter). Thankyou for reading, and I hope this comment serves a...
