Nice food but wouldn’t bother going back because of the staff and service. I’ve been several times despite constantly receiving terrible service. I have always visited outside of peak times when there is usually 4-5 staff on. Despite this, I have always been left waiting 15-20 min to order my food. After the plates are cleared, no one asks if we want another drink, the dessert menu or the bill. The waitresses just walk off and you have to try and catch their eye to call them over! There is no such thing as checking in with their table. And all the other waitresses ignore you if they are not too specific waitress! They have forgotten my drink on 3 occasions now. The waitresses are not friendly or attentive at all. I wasn’t even taken to my table. The waitress simply pointed to a table and said we could sit there! Definitely not the kind of service you should receive when paying high prices for their food. Upon asking for the bill the waitress asked how we would be paying. We had not decided yet but were told we had to tell her then and there. We asked to see the bill to determine if we had enough cash. She simply said no we couldn’t see our bill until we told her how we were paying!! How absurd is that!!! She was the rudest person. We decided to pay by card in case we didn’t have enough cash. Turns out, they processed our order in the system and added a 1.5% surcharge to the total without telling me first. This is disgusting. It was not listed on the bill receipt nor was it even verbally communicated. The staff here really don’t care about their customers. Absolutely cannot thank the team at Madera Lounge enough for making my event unforgettable! From the very first moment we stepped into the venue to book, we were met with warmth, professionalism, and genuine excitement to bring our vision to life. The staff were a dream to work with—so hospitable, responsive, and proactive in every step of planning.

On the day of the event, they went above and beyond, from accommodating every little request we had to keeping everything running smoothly throughout the night. The food was constantly replenished, the customer service was impeccable, and the entertainment could not be faulted. The DJ and drummer added an unforgettable energy that everyone enjoyed.

They also captured heaps of amazing content throughout the night and sent it through to me in such a timely and organised way. This venue is truly one of a kind—not just for how stunning it is, but for the heart and soul that the team pours into every single detail. We had the best time and are so grateful to Madera Lounge for making it all happen.

If there were an option for a negative rating, this place would definitely get it. The ordeal began right from the start with the manager's rude behavior. When my friend asked him, quite politely, about the DJ's arrival time, he was met with an aggressive response. We decided to overlook it and give the place a chance.

The real trouble began when we joined everyone else on the dance floor. The music was loud, and the atmosphere was lively with people dancing. My friend started doing the Dabke, and that's when things took a turn for the worse.

The manager grabbed my friend's arms aggressively, cursed, and told him, “Fkn stop that now or else I’m gonna kick you all out.”

It's baffling how a Lebanese restaurant can have such a hostile attitude towards dancing, especially towards a traditional dance. Save your money and enjoy your music and dancing at home, because here, you'll be treated with disrespect if you dance.

And before the manager tries to claim my friend was “dancing aggressively,” let me clarify: he was performing the Dabke, well away from anyone else and not obstructing the staff. We were keeping a respectful distance. I strongly advise against...
