Mamas Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

Ever since Jerry sold this cafe, the service and atmosphere has changed for the worse. The barista is so arrogant and does not take accountability for any of his mistakes. A simple "sorry" with actual remorse would suffice. Poor form. I went in today with my partner to get a coffee and breakfast. It was quiet when we went in, and as I was about to order at the counter, I was told to take a seat and my order will be taken at the table. We waited and the barista never came. Then 10 min later the cafe got busier and I had to leave soon. I went up to the counter again and in an apathetic manner the barista was like "yeah maybe you should just line up and order". Extremely disappointed by the Man’s behaviour today who was serving coffee. I went there once before and the young lady serving there was so polite. But this Man serving today was disappointingly rude….I told him that i will have the coffee here and he said “You can have it anywhere”…..generally in a cafe having here would mean serving the dring on a glass cup or mug…when he served it on a disposable mug i told him I actually wanted it on a disposable…then he kinda shouted at me and told me you should have told me earlier…..whereas I actually did tell him that I wanted to have here. Mama’s Cafe is easily one of my favorite spots! The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. The food is always amazing, whether you’re grabbing a coffee, a meal, or just stopping by for a treat. I’m especially loving that they’re now open at night with a dessert menu—best crepes I have ever tasted!
