Read moreIts a beautiful park but why are they digging up most of it and putting down cancerous astro turff for a soccer pitch whats wrong with real grass i would think that the council would want to keep jobs for maintaining the natural beauty of the area. Look at Prattern park Ashfield it's so well looked after and used by the residents of the area they can use the oval for cricket soccer and general use. Its such a lovely park. I bet once astro turfs down locals will not be allowed on the pitches unless playing organized games. Id look at re turfing with real grass with good drainage and not astro turfing, unless of course someone in council has shares or a monetary interest in astro turf. Lets keep...
Read moreGardiner Park is a newly renovated park with all new amenities. Newly built turf field in the heart of the park. Management staff organising events are quite engaging and welcoming which definitely will attract you to visit there again. Visited first time.
Overall experience is very good. Met with Mr. Hossain, who is a referee for the soccer match and who also one of the organising staff, whom I found very cordial.
