Manee Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Sydney

This place has extremely bad customer service. When ordering take away recently I arrived home to find only 2 of the 4 items ordered were in the bag. When contacting them about this they took no responsibility and were not interested in rectifying the issue. Instead the initial person who answered my phone call passed the phone to another who I had to repeat what had happened. That person then handed the phone to a 3rd person and again I needed to say once more what had happened. With no excuse me for a moment and to my disbelief the 3rd person then commenced talking in Thai to, I can only presume the other 2, for about 2 minutes before speaking once again with me stating this is your problem...

If you’re looking for the best Thai restaurant in Minto, look no further than Manee Thai! I’ve had the pleasure of trying almost everything on the menu, and it’s hard to pick a favorite, but the fresh fish truly stands out. Not only is it incredibly tasty, but it’s also beautifully decorated on the plate, making the whole dining experience even more special. The customer service here is beyond exceptional—friendly, attentive, and deserving of a full 5 stars.

Ordered rice, received none.

The massaman beef was incredibly dry, and there was a whole star anise in it which I chewed before realising it was there, leaving me utterly unable to taste anything else. Absolutely not worth $20.

The takeaway menu lists the peanut sauce stir fry as $15.90. What it does not make apparent is that this is just veges and sauce, and so if you order chicken peanut sauce stir fry, you pay extra.

So I paid $40 for two partially filled containers of food, one of which was quite bad...and didn't get a complete meal because they ignored my request for rice.
