McDonald's Emu Plains — Restaurant in Sydney

So it seems people just don’t know about Emu Plains McDonalds. They are well run, polite staff who listen carefully to your order. Also fast especially for drive through. One of the only stores who get coffee orders right and the mochas both iced or hot are nice and chocolatey. I’ve never been served the wrong order here. It can get noisy at after school time when kids on bikes arrive. There’s a play area for kids which I see used a lot but it’s not usually crowded. Outdoor and indoor seating though indoors near the cafe part isn’t favourite spot. You can watch the tv if you feel like it. It’s not on too loud. I like coming here and having breaky on my one morning a week off. Have a bacon and egg McMuffin and add a hash brown you won’t be disappointed. Thinking about it makes me want to visit. Only issues are that sometimes it can be annoying to get in with so many trucks in the area but mostly ok. It’s kid friendly and they are happy to take your order in person unlike some places. I see lots of grandparents with little ones and they take them to the play area to entertain them. It’s got a friendly atmosphere. Tradies stop by and local kids, families. Funny, when you're driving up the mountain to Blaxland to 'shop' at another store and you've followed or are following 5 other vehicles from Emu Plains.

You're reminded why this happens when you decide to 'shop' at Emu Plains and order stock standard items and you're forced sit in the waiting bay with the other 5 cars trying to occupy the same 1 and a half spaces on a tight turn for long periods of time - I've noted the other commenters have mentioned the same thing.

Drive through is always a nightmare here. You're almost always told to sit in the waiting bay. Always missed items from stock orders. You get a lucky dip if you ask for a dipping sauce substitute. If you pay for sauces - be grateful you get one, not what you want,.but you got one,.so be grateful.

Don't bother raising your issues with store staff. Sadly the ones in charge don't care and the others are just doing what they think is right to keep the ship moving.

I'm only giving 1 star as it WON'T ALLOW ME GIVE THEM NO STARS. Disappointed. The car in front of me & the car who ordered after me through thr drive-through were in the waiting area. The staff brought out 2 coffees to the car in front of me, which was fine. At the same time the staff member brought out 2 coffees for the car behind me, WHO HAD ORDERED AFTER ME IN THE DRIVE- THROUGH. I had ordered a seniors coffee with my bacon & egg muffin. The staff member started to walk back to the cafe without saying anything to me. I managed to get her attention & asked her where my coffee was. She said she would check. She came out 3 mins later with my seniors coffee. Why are seniors treated this way ? We spend money on our grandkids at maccas. I know the Seniors Assoc. have an agreement with Maccas so why are we ignored & TREATED with...
