As a gladesville local, and tenured customer at this particular chain, I’ve spent a lot of time deliberating the factors of my review. But after accounting for childhood nostalgia, fond carpark memories and recent renovations, the chain gets a generous three stars. As a regular, you tend to characterise a restaurant by experiences which deviate from the expected Maccas ‘canon’. Here’s two trends off the top of my head: Have ordered Biscoff McPops, tends to be either 2 ot 3 pops, and they are handed to me rock-solid frozen, likely straight out of the freezer. I mean, how hard is it to keep the McCafe cabinet stocked with defrosted or dare I say warm McPops? Have been sent to the waiting bay consistently almost every order for months, so often that their new renovations have included building a new window to accommodate the waiting bay/s. To make matters worse, they don’t communicate to these monster-truck-driving OAFS that they need to move to the furthest bay to accomodate the drive thru. It just complicates what should be an experience that testifies to the intended convenience of the drive thru system.

I was waiting for my order when I witnessed a man waiting for his order only to not receive what he order when he asked the young staff member they denied the rest of the order before speaking to another staff member then making a comment at the man. He then asked for a manager and was attempting to get the rest of his order and was clearly frustrated at the fact. A lady then interfered and made claims he was calling staff stupid in fact he was actually addressing the fact he was looked at and spoken to like he was stupid which was what he said only for the lady to accuse him of calling the staff stupid. The manager heard what was said and did not do anything about this she did not speak the truth because she was told by the man the place is poorly run. The lady that accused that man did not hear what was said properly and was being racist and clear behaved how she did through racism. The worst part about this was not one person had the right order and everyone had to ask for the rest of their order very poor customer service. Read moreI ordered a Double Quarter Pounder meal with a friend yesterday, Saturday 10 August at 2:47pm, and waited for about 20 minutes or more. After a couple of bites from the burger, I found a short curly hair that looked like a pubic hair, I was so disgusted, I showed it at counter, and they quickly replaced it. I started eating the new burger, and it tasted like I was slurping spoonful of oil, it was swimming in oil! I've never seen anything like that. The oil was overflowing from the burger and dripping into the box, you didn't have to squeeze the burger, the oil was just oozing, probably about 2 tablespoons of oil dripped on the cardboard and it solidified. I was actually gagging from the taste, it was horrible and disgusting!! I didn't want an another replacement burger, but I told the girl who served me about it, and she just said "oh okay, I'll tell the kitchen" with a blank look on her face. We also ordered large Sundaes, and the chocolate Sundae was the most anemic Chocolate Sundae I've ever seen, the chocolate had no taste, it had no flavour!
