Absolutely disgusting experience at this McDonalds. The manager on duty at 5:45pm on 18/12/2015 should be sacked immediately. By far, the worst experience I've had in my life and I'm 40 now. The order was placed via the self serve ordering system. It took approximately 15 minutes to get the order for myself and young daughter, which cost $31.75 for regular menu options. Once the order was said to be ready. Out of tomato sauce. Forgot 2 x apple pies. Forgot large chocolate sundae. Fries were supposed to hav bacon & cheese topping but received guacamole.
Had to go back to change this and took another 10 minutes to fix. In the meantime my food got cold and sundae melted. The girl who was supposed to fix this simply walked off an forgot about is, so I had to follow it up with another staff member.
That's not the worst part, the place was a pig sty! While waiting for our order we looked around for a table with no food and rubbish on it, but they were all covered as well as seats. I had to clear rubbish myself so we could eat without getting dirty. The floor was the worst part, covered in greasy fries and more general rubbish at ALL available tables. The main trafficable floor was also very dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. I hate the litigious society we've become in recent times, but I would have absolutely no sympathy at all to this establishment if it were to be hit with a severe claim which financially cripples the owners. I can not understand how any legitimate business owner would allow their business to degrade to such low levels.
I am absolutely disgusted that such a recognised franchise can operate so poorly. Never experienced anything like it anywhere. I can guarantee I'm not the only one who experienced this. The line to collect orders was about 10 deep and the expression on their faces is confirmation enough that this place is a big fail. At approximately 10:15 AM, I placed an order using one of the self-service machines and paid for it. The location was not busy, and I waited in front of the counter as usual. However, by 10:40 AM, my order number had not been called. I approached a staff member to inquire about my order, and although she followed up with her colleagues, no resolution was provided.
By 10:55 AM, I still had not received my order. I escalated the issue to the manager, who informed me that no order had been placed. I showed proof of payment from my bank account, to which he responded that “someone must have taken your order.” At this point, I requested a refund, as I had another appointment at 11:30 AM and still needed to travel to Wolli Creek.
Instead of processing the refund, the manager grabbed my arm, insisted that he could complete the order in three minutes, and offered a free iced coffee as compensation. Unfortunately, I did not want the iced coffee, as I already had a hot coffee.
Due to the delay, I missed my appointment and incurred a missed appointment fee. I had to wait over 30 minutes for a meal that was never delivered as promised.

My last visit was such a disappointing & annoying experience, the amt of money spent on ordering meals, going through drive thru, grabbing th meal/s & going the convenience of it all is the whole point of the experience BUT the absolute inconvenience part of it all is when you expect of what you have ordered is all correct & in the bag & no worries. NOT the case of my most recent drive thru. I ordered a particular meal for my son with customised Burger basically all he always and ever wants is Bun Patty & Cheese which having it ordered like that before was never a problem or issue until now. In the burger it had the lot plus bacon. Now not only driving away & having to know that there was an issue with the order is as I mentioned frustrating and annoying and a total inconvenience to return & have the order rectified as per ordered, Correct!? Not only that WHAT IF my son happens to be allergic to that particular ingredients hence why it was customised for a reason, it would not have been a good outcome let me tell you.
