This was the worst customer service that i have experienced in the 30+ years i have been ordering from a Macdonalds chain. Made a order on there self serve ordering device at 7.20pm and patiently waited to pay at the counter as i wanted to pay cash, a order number was given to me so i assumed my order went through. When there young team member who was off duty came to make a order, all staff come from the back to give high fives and got his order out with additional high fives when leaving. Still patiently waiting noticed that they were calling out order numbers that were like 10 numbers above mine. I approached a young team member which occasionally was coming and handing out orders, & asked politely were my order was. She went to the back and never updated me. After she handed out 3 to 4 more orders, i asked her again were my order was. Another young team member approached me and checked my order number. She told me because the order wasnât paid (wanted to pay cash at counter) they have not even started to make it & by this time it was 7.50pm. By this time the payment was made and the worker said we will make it straight away. During this time, they saw that there were more people in the instore section and placed a person there to serve customers, which was not really serving customers, was to busy sending messages on her phone. Another customer approached her to ask about there order which i know was made and waiting there counter, her reply to the customer was âthey will call it outâ didnât even bother to check if the order waiting on the counter was his. So this customers order was sitting there getting cold for no reason while the worker sorts out her messages on her personal phone.
At 8.10 i had finally had enough of this uncertified ZOO environment. I approached the lady at the mc cafe section asking to speak to a manager. After another 5 minutes, the manager with a smile on his face, like he achieved something, come to the front counter with my order. I demanded my money back and told him i dont want this order. He was hesitant to give my money back and was not even apologetic about the time i waited in there store.
If mc donalds Australia is needing any feedback on how there customer service is going, please look into this store⌠it really needs help. From there workers to there managementâŚ...
Read moreI am writing this after I have lost hope on these guys. The accuracy of the order isn't something a customer can expect at this MCD. Today I ordered for a double mc chicken with a slice of tomato and a large coffee frappe. I am charged extra 50cents for the slice of tomato but who ever made the double McChicken thought 50cents isnt sufficient for a slice of tomato and decided to make it with out the tomato slice. This is not the first time these guys ignore the customised order. Then the Large Coffee Frappe. If I order for a large, they use a large cup but fill it with the quantity of a medium coffee frappe. And the reason for the underfill given by the manager was, since I ordered the frappe without the whipped cream, it would look underfilled. He kept a medium cup next to the Large frappe and the quantity was up to the level of the medium cup. I had no idea how to explain him that the dome lid for the frappe is for the cream topping and the cream shouldn't be a part of the cup itself. I requested him to make it again or top it up but he was happy to return my money back. Kudos to the manager, who fought hard to prove "Customer is Always Wrong". Actually these guys making the frappe aren't patient enought to pour all the frappe from the jar they use to make it. 90% of the time the they pour some amount of frappe into the sink which I have seen multiple times these guys do. I don't understand how they could be so eager to pour it into the sink but not into the cup they serve it to the customer. Returning my money to prove me wrong is the enough for me to stop coming to this place.
It is not about the small amount of extra money that I pay for which I don't get the customised food. It is about the respect they show to the customers that makes me furious. I order for customised food for a reason and you charge me for it but ignore to ensure that I get what I ordered for.
Please MCD train these guys properly. When I take my food from drive through, I trust you guys have given me what I ordered for and then drive away. When I open it to find I didn't get what I ordered for, You make me look like a fool. By that time I am not at your store but somewhere else, I think it is not worth to drive all the way back to receive a unwilling sorry from your...
Read moreThe Worst McDonald's Ever â I Got RAILED Like Never Before!
If you ever thought a quick stop at McDonald's was a foolproof way to grab a fast meal, let me tell you something: think again. I went to this particular McDonald's, and I swear, I got railed so hard, it felt like I had been run over by a freight train made of disappointment, frustration, and the worst service imaginable. If I thought I knew what being ârailedâ meant before walking in, this place showed me a whole new level of getting railedâand Iâm not talking about anything inappropriate.
Entering the Void: The First Railing Begins
It started as a regular trip to McDonald's. I was hungry, I needed food, and I thought, âHey, itâs McDonaldâs, what could go wrong?â Little did I know, I was walking straight into a McDisaster that would leave me questioning every life choice Iâd ever made up until that point. I walked into the restaurant, my stomach growling with anticipation. I could already smell the faint scent of fries in the air, and I was ready for it. This was going to be my quick fix.
But as I stood there, I couldnât help but notice something was off. The place wasnât exactly busy, but the staff? They were all just... floating around. Iâm not talking about that cool, bustling energy you get from a team thatâs on top of their game. No. These employees were moving like they were stuck in molasses. It was like time itself had given up on them. I felt like I had entered some alternate dimension where people just casually wandered around, doing as little as possible, yet somehow still managing to make me feel like I was getting railed.
I waited in line for what felt like an eternity. Normally, you get a quick âHi, welcome to McDonaldâs!â when you approach the counter. But here? I got the cold stare of a thousand souls that had clearly given up on life. The cashier looked at me as if I had just asked her to recite the works of Shakespeare in French. No smile. No âWhat can I get for you?â Just... nothing. I could feel the weight of my hunger pressing down on me like a 10-ton wrecking ball, but no, I was being railed by the void of...
