Moon's Sushi — Restaurant in Sydney

We ordered 1.Bibimba, 2.Korean fried chicken with soy garlic, 3.crispy salmon roll, 4.Avocado baby roll and 5.Edamame.

1.Bibimba was totally different with the picture of the menu… Only core of cabbage, onion, beef and fried egg on it. Taste was okay… but if you wanna have a Bibimba like picture or your image, you better be careful to expect.

Korean fried chicken wasn’t crispy at all. My image of Korean fried chicken is very crispy outside and juicy inside but it was soaked in the soy garlic sauce. So very soggy unfortunately 😭 I talked with my friend who recommended this restaurant about it, she surprised and said usually it crispy and nice. So maybe unlucky day somehow…

3.crispy salmon roll was bit too oily and It wasn’t crispy . When I picked it up with chopsticks, it was broken straight away and all of rice, dry cucumber and salmon fell apart 😢

4.Avocado baby roll was difficult to eat for my child. When he grab it, it started to break and totally broke after he bit. So if you wanna order for your child, maybe better to ask to cut them smaller size.

5.Edamame was okay. Bit overcooked.

When I asked about Bibimba, the staff said “we put a note that pictures and reality are different”. That’s the reason I put one star for the service. I think they shouldn’t put the picture which is really different...

Food was good but for the past three times we have been they have messed up we always order the same thing a California roll no fish eggs and a crab and avo roll both large and both with extra Mayo, I continuously ask for extra Mayo on the sushi roll NOT ON THE SIDE and keep getting it on the side yesterday my partner got a salmon and avo roll instead of the crab and avo roll WRONG FOOD not happy and then today they gave us the wrong order and charged us 39 dollars when it only should have been 33 dollar for the two large rolls and a drink, we went back and they didn’t give us a refund and told us it’s only a couple dollars extra ITS 6 dollars NOT ACCEPTABLE and then I got another drink which cost 5.50 and they charged us for that aswell, what is this service you should be satisfying the customer and not over charging them and making sure they receive the...

Delicious things come to those who wait (when it's busy on the weekends). Amazing food and proportions! Everything on the menu is super tasty. Wide variety of sushi as well as Korean dishes and cold drinks. If you like spicy style ramen, this is the place to get it. Highly recommend the Korean fried chicken and seafood rolls. For a lively night out with small parties of people, dine in on the weekends. For quieter nights, weekdays are great. You might have to wait a bit when it's busy, but please trust little ol' me that it's totally worth it. Thank you Moon Moon staff for a tasty outing!
