Ms Right Roseville — Restaurant in Sydney

Thank the Lord! Ms Right Teahouse has managed to secure a beautiful location. This time in Roseville. This charming spot, set in a beautifully restored historic cottage surrounded by parklands, offers a dining experience that’s both elegant and inviting. We came for high tea, and it exceeded every expectation. The presentation was exquisite—definitely Instagram-worthy—but beyond the visuals, each dish was thoughtfully crafted, with flavours that truly shone. The savoury and sweet options balanced perfectly, and the gourmet tea selections were a delightful touch.

For those who appreciate authentic Chinese dining, the real gem here is the private dining option. Scarlett, the owner, can design a custom menu for you in one of the beautifully appointed private rooms—a wonderful option for a family gathering or special occasion.

As for the food, the Japanese-style dry-aged wagyu short rib with sautéed kale in oyster butter was nothing short of sublime—tender, rich, and perfectly cooked. The Shepherd’s purse and pork handmade tortellini was equally impressive, with a delicate yet flavourful filling that made every bite memorable.

Had the most wonderful high tea in this gem of a spot today. Located in the quiet locale of Roseville (tucked away next to Roseville park) is this quaint little cafe with plenty of hidden nooks and interesting antiques to browse. It’s a cafe and attached shop, with several private dining rooms and the whole venue is really quite charming.

The food is outstanding - several delicacies on offer in a sumptuous high tea and some interesting drinks as well. Beautiful presentation - everything is well thought out and beautifully served. All absolutely delicious and great value for money. We had M looking after us and we were delighted with the service, the food, the ambiance and the experience. In fact dining here isn’t just about the meal, it’s a whole experience. Not to be rushed - this is a meal and venue to be savoured. Went to the restaurant with a bunch of friends. Not expecting much - but wow! it was really good. The atmosphere is authentic asian/chinese, the attentions they have paid to the details - from the restaurant deco to the calligraphy of the menu. Ms right has the right taste and it is a good taste.

Now the food. Food from "ms right" is really the "right" kind of food. Not too oily, not too salty, not too spicy - unlike any of the kinds you get from an old school "Chinese" restaurant, ms right's dishes are very innovative and tasty. I particularly liked that the dishes they have are more like from a family banquet than from a commercial restaurant - to me, this is big deal. so kudos to ms right.

overall - very happy with the restaurant - the atmosphere, the food and the service.
