Roseville Cinemas — Local services in Sydney

Whilst i agree that it does have old world charm. Their policy re seniors is degrading, judgemental, and just not pleasant. I have been going to this cinema for well over forty years. I am most definitely of an age where I look like a senior, yet to be asked for my senior's card to prove this is just demeaning and unnecessary. When I queried the youngster she told me that it was in case someone was over 60 and still working and didn't have a seniors card and so wasn't entitled to a discounted ticket. I know they show films which don't get onto the blockbuster cinemas, but in future I shall try to see the films I like at other cinemas. Besides which as a 'senior' it is only EIGHT DOLLARS to get into Event cinemas and if you pick and choose you can generally see most of the films you are interested in at either Hornsby, or Macquarie. OR go to the ODEAN, Hornsby, $8.00 to get in and never once have I been asked for a seniors card. No point going to a lovely old fashioned cinema if one is treated...

Such an amazing movie going experience for parents and babies! The crying room at the back of the cinema was the perfect environment for my friend and I to enjoy a movie with our babies (2-3 months old). There was a change table, a bouncer, a fan, a heater, and adjustable volume for the movie. The staff were very friendly and helpful too, thank you for making our first cinema visit as new mums so wonderful.
