Food is ok. But be careful, the main staff in the shop is like a teacher or policeman. Her attitude towards a customer is totally unacceptable. Coffee here is not very nice as well and the space in the shop is actually very small. What happened is we came here yesterday as well, and got a leftover from yesterday’s ordering, which is a sandwich. Today, we came here and ordered a main dish and three drinks and sat down to dine. We wanted to finish the leftover taking away from this shop and there is a small takeaway of 8 dumplings from another shop (which is also a leftover from home dinner, coz we don’t want to waste that). The staff came to us and wagging fingers to us that saying no food from other shops allowed. We said we also ordered a lot of other food from them today, and we didn’t know this is not allowed. The staff then said she will charge us more, and said she already warned us, but we are still having the dumplings. I mean is this such a big deal of it? Just because of 8 dumplings, and you act like a police officer on a royal client living in neighborhood? Totally...

Nice little cafe nestled in Roseville.

Breakfast and brunch/lunch Menu offerings (all day) ranging from your staple to unique Asian twist inspired dishes from Okonomiyaki prawn toast, Tom Yum pasta, chorizo and prawn toast to your staples of big breakfast, bacon and egg roll etc. portions are worthwhile for the price!

We had the prawn and chorizo roll and okonomiyaki prawn toast with additional Sides. Nicely aburi prawns for the chorizo and prawn rolls. The prawn toast had generous prawn paste and the creation of the dish with the okonomiyaki sauce compliments it with the slight tartness and sweetness of the apple slaw. Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast !

Coffee! Unique in its taste and unique to Cafe Nate. Very different from your single O, ona coffee etc. really enjoyed the authenticity of their own blend !

Service was good, friendly, efficient !

Ambience lovely and they have more seats out the back and possibly dog friendly (please check with cafe) .

If you don’t drive it is easily accessible right across from Roseville train station otherwise street...

The food was excellent. The eggs beny that my wife had was delicious. I had the prawn and chorizo roll that was also great. The avocado did send the roll a little soggy but the flavours, and presentation, were excellent. The service was friendly and helpful. The missing star? They forgot the coffee. Apparently it was a technical glitch but the coffee hadn't arrived by the time we finished our meals and I had to go enquire about them as it was very difficult to get the waiter's attention. Apologies were given all around. The only other issue is that the passage for staff and diners to get to the rear of the cafe is quite narrow. I saw that it was a potential problem and sat down the back, but I watched other diners have problems with access. Try and sit down the back is my advice. Otherwise, it is well...
