Oporto South Strathfield Drive Thru — Restaurant in Sydney

The meal quality has drop so much over the years at Oportos South Strathfield.

The price on a Large Triple Bondi burger meal is now $16 dollars and 95% of the time chips and the burger will be cold and stale tasting.

Mistakes with orders are so frequent it’s almost impossible for them to ever provide you with the correct meal you ordered.

If you request a different type of chilli sauce on the burger they will more often than not forget to put it on and still charge you for it.

The drive-thru is in absolutely shambles, don't bother unless you don't mind receiving the wrong order.

The Manager has been caught on many occasions getting in to arguments with staff and customers, raising his voice and displaying agitated body language when they request Hot Chips and not the cold ones that have been sitting idle for over 10 minutes.

Nearly every staff member has very limited English skills/capabilities, which is exploited by their manager in the treatment they receive.

The staff seem to be unhappy all most of the time.

There is honestly nothing positive to say about this restaurant and I would not be surprised if an investigation was performed they would discover many breaches in food and health standards, illegal working conditionings and the exploitation/mistreatment of staff.

It's mostly overpriced, stale and cold food. Just all round horrible food serviced 95% of the time unless you get dragged in to an argument with the store manager who lacks any sort of customer services skills in order to at least not...

Stopped here for a quick takeaway feed Had to go down into the store since my truck doesnt fit in the drive thru Probably the most dirtiest shop i have ever ordered from, the back was a disaster i felt sick knowing i was ordering from here I guess the cleaning has slacked off since no one walks in anymore because of the lockdowns The lady takes my order and serves me with the cooking gloves, so i gave the cash and coins and thought the gloves will be off once done with the register.. Instead leaves them on and goes to the back to start cooking my order Puts her hand inside the box of the Jalepeno bites with the same gloves and picks them out one by one and puts them in the fryer, not realising she just had a bunch of coins in her hand from my ashtray And then while waiting fixing the headphones and the hair with the same gloves and continuing serving people in drive thru and cooking other orders Now i understand why my parents never let me eat takeaway when i was younger These people have no idea about hygiene just nothing If this is what happens infront of us i wouldnt want to know what happens where we cant see.. Couldnt be bothered arguing just walked out and threw all the food in the bin Shame to see what used to be a good place to eat end up like this Head office need to educate their staff about food...

I’m making a formal complaint, directly towards Strathfield South Oporto’s. Ordered myself a pulled chicken bowl salad on my lunch break today; as we couldn’t eat in store because of covid standards, I had to go back to work. As I was eating my salad , I unexpectedly noticed a chicken bone fragment got stuck deep into my gums. Then noticed more bone pieces were found throughout the salad. With the bone fragment stuck between my gums, I found it impossible to get it out myself. Which then led me to leaving work early and losing my days worth of income. I’ve had to go out of my way to book a dentist appointment nearby, just so that the fragment in my gums wouldn’t affect me any further or cause any serious infections. Luckily enough the dentist was able to remove the bone but she even stated she found it difficult for herself to remove it.

Shame that I won’t be returning back to Oporto’s, as it has really turned me off from having to order anything from your menu. I hope this incident has been noticed and that better precautions will be taken when handling customers orders. I hope no one else will occur in a situation...
