Ozi Desi, Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Sydney

Ordered via doordash, paid and waited for an hour then received a message saying that my order has been cancelled!!! Doordash support advised that the restaurant had cancelled the order without any reason!!! THIS IS COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! leaving your customers waiting for a WHOLE HOUR before telling them that you can't fulfill their order is completely ridiculous and not providing a valid reason made it even worse, especially when I saw the frustration on my kids faces after they knew!!! I WISH THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING LESS THAN 1 STAR!! NEVER ORDERING FROM YOU AGAIN!!!

I am completely APPALLED by your dishonest reply!! If you are being dishonest & untruthful, that is a big problem, BUT if you really dont know which companies you are partner with that is A DISASTER and only shows how disorganised your business is!!!

Apparently, from reading other reviews, I'm not the only one who has complained about the same or similar issues!

I am not sure if it is allowed by google but I have attached screenshots, i hope that google will show showing them, with your business listing on Doordash, the order confirmation email which I have received from Doordash after placing my order, email from Doordash apologising and offering credit after you have cancelled my order WITHOUT providing any reason!! And a screenshot confirming my full refund and free credit from Doordash.

You must think carefully, before supplying FALSE AND DISHONEST information and before simply saying to your customers that it was not you fault just to avoid responsibility, as this will only show how terrible your service is!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!

I can't believe that this how you reply! YOU ARE A LIVING EXAMPLE OF DISORGANISATION, RUDNESS AND DISHONESTY!! My words are the truth!

Anyone can search on doordash and will find your listing. Doordash did not force you to list on their app, RIDICULOUS :)

I will be posting reviews about this terrible experience everywhere.

Your irresponsible replies will drive your customers away, you should think carefully before replying like this if you really care about your business.

As mentioned previously, I am not the first one who complained about your POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES!...

I had an issue on door dash they had kept showing that the restaurant was still preparing my food over an hour , I called the restaurant and the owner who was very sweet let me know he's been waiting for a driver to pick it up but door dash hadn't sent anybody to pick up my food , I just said I'll be patient and wait.The owner kept calling me every twenty minutes to let me know he's still waiting for a driver , I had to message door dash and they had just cancelled with no explanation after two hours had gone by and I had messaged the owner to let him know door dash cancelled instead of trying to find me a driver or even acknowledge my message, the owner was so sweet that he went out of his own way to deliver the food to me himself! Knowing I would get my money back from DoorDash he had come to deliver it and wouldn't take my cash 🥺 the food had to be heated up obviously but was still divine! Will definitely be ordering directly from the restaurant more often , amazing service! The owner definitely is proof there is still dedicated restaurant owners out there who genuinely care about their customers...

Had high expectations of this place as it was recommended by a colleague, however I'm disappointed.

First of all, the drinks we ordered, which was only a can of coke and a mango lassi, took more than 30mins to arrive. Second, we waited almost 50mins for our food to arrive whilst they were getting their menulog/takeout orders out one after another. When we told them we were waiting for our food for quite a while they just told us they were very busy. Mind you the restaurant is not that big. Third, for the price of their food (we got curries), the portion sizes are very small, served in a small bowl like dish with not much meat. The food tasted decent however the service and the amount of time it took for the food to arrive was disappointing. They really need to hire more ppl in the kitchen.

Unfortunately I will not be coming back as I feel like I can get better service with better...
