The food is AMAZING and the service was so good just like a 5 star restaurant , the food served there feels JUST like thailand.If you're craving authentic Thai food in Revesby, GR8 Thai is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you step inside, the welcoming atmosphere sets the stage for a wonderful dining experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, always making sure you’re comfortable and well taken care of.

The menu is packed with a variety of delicious dishes that showcase the true essence of Thai cuisine. Whether you're a fan of spicy, sweet, or savory flavors, there's something to suit every taste. Their Pad Thai was the best dish so far, full of flavor, perfectly balanced, and served with generous portions of tender chicken or prawns. The Green Curry is another one of my favorite, rich and aromatic, with just the right amount of heat to satisfy your spice cravings. And if you're a fan of stir-fried dishes, you can’t go wrong with their Stir-fried Basil fragrant, vibrant, and oh so satisfying.

But it’s not just the food that makes GR8 Thai stand out, the presentation of each dish is impresive, and the quality is always top notch. Fresh ingredients shine through in every bite, giving you a true taste of Thailand. The portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth.

What really makes GR8 Thai a 5-star experience is the consistency. No matter when you visit, you can count on a highquality meal and excellent service. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, the experience is always fantastic.

Mixed Experience – Great Potential but Needs Attention

I visited this restaurant for lunch and unfortunately, my experience was mixed due to several factors: food quality, service, and cleanliness.

Food: • Chicken Satay Skewers: Excellent. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce was full of flavour. I’d happily order these again. • Soft Shell Crab: Disappointing. It had an unusual and off-putting taste. I won’t be ordering this again. • BBQ King Prawn: Poorly cleaned – the vein was still intact despite the prawn being sliced for cleaning. Flavours were also not enjoyable. On a positive note, the steamed vegetables served with it were well-cooked. • Pad See Ew: Lacked flavour and the meat was quite dry. • Spring Rolls: Tasty and well-filled. A solid option on the menu.

Service: The staff member who served us was polite and pleasant. However, she was sitting and chatting with another staff member during service and was inattentive. I had to call out to get her attention.

Atmosphere & Cleanliness: The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice vibe, but the cutlery and cups were not clean, which was concerning.

Important Note: While the restaurant advertises as halal, it’s worth noting that pork is also served. This may be important for those strictly observing halal...

I ordered the whole barramundi with ginger sauce and the green curry.

The green curry portion was generous. It was mildly spicy, rich in curry flavor, and very fragrant. The aftertaste had a nice coconut aroma. The beef had been marinated beforehand, giving it a savory taste. It was incredibly tender, and paired with the curry, the flavors were well-balanced and delicious.

The barramundi was fried to perfection — crispy on the outside and still juicy inside. The way the fish was prepared was quite impressive: it was served whole, with the head and tail intact, but there were no bones. I’m not sure how they managed that! However, the sauce didn’t have much flavor, so next time I might try a different one.

The restaurant is quite spacious, and the tables are a decent size, though it might feel a bit tight for just two people. The decor is bright and open, very clean, and the staff were professional...
