Pendle Inn Hotel — Restaurant in Sydney

Only come here for the bistro (J’s Kitchen) the service from the manager (old Aussie lady) is appalling. She seems to be high on drugs (she kept sniffing her nose and wiping it) or just out of it as her service is disgusting. I asked if she was making cocktails (there’s a menu for cocktails at the bar near the bistro) she answered “NAH, NOT ME” followed by “YOU WANT A COCKTAIL GO TO THE OTHER BAR.” Sounds like she was just lazy and overwhelmed with 2 other people there waiting to order… it wasn’t just this time every time I’m served by her it’s as if she’s doing me a bloody favour. Service at bar is frustratingly slow

Enter the dining area. There is a vertical structure that divides the dining area from the main bar.

To order a drink, i had a walk around to pay for the drinks

Extremely dissapointing, went sent our drinks back because they were disgusting, second lot of drinks were no better and were left untouched. Our group of 5 didn't finish any of our meals, two of the group who had seafood had explosive diarea later after the meal. A medium steak was cooked to a constant grey colour right thru. I tried one of my Wifes prawn cutlets and had to spit it out due to the rotten seafood taste of it. Basically if you have a cast iron stomach then give it a try, you may have better luck that we did.
