Pizza Hut Menai — Restaurant in Sydney

Dear Failhut,

We ordered our pizza at 7:15. We waited expecting our pizza to arrive in a timely manner, however, the clock struck 7:45 and we were wondering how our pizza going. As a result, we decided to have a look at your wonderful pizza tracker. The order was being prepared. This is understandable as it’s a friday night, peak pizza in the pizza world. 8:15 rolls past, we check the pizza tracker once again. It’s still being prepared… We are reasonable people and once again, it is peak pizza time. The footy is on, the beers are flowing.. but that’s peak pizza time right!? But still, our pizza is still being prepared. That’s fine, we will happily wait for some prime pizza at pizza time. The clock strikes 8:40. “Let’s check the tracker!” and to our dismay, pizza tracker unavailable. So we decide to call. We waited for a few minutes and the store did not answer. The automated message said our pizza was out for delivery and due at 7:52pm. But that’s fine. we are patient folks. Like we said, prime pizza time. 9pm rolls around, we are well and truly ready to eat. We called and left a voicemail and were told we would get a response. No response came. Half a tube of pringles later, we called again and finally got in touch with a lovely lady. We told her of our issue and she placed us on hold as she looked into the situation. We prayed to the pizza gods as we patiently waitied on hold hoping our door bell would ring any second, but to our dismay we stayed on hold for a further 13 minutes. We listed to your pizza hut jam on repeat for 13 MINUTES (if only i had maraca’s). The tunes finally stopped only because we were hung up on. DEVEASTAED! Finally, after two hours, our pizza arrived. Cold. We sincerely hope that dominoes will do...

Dear Marios from Pizza Hut Menai. You truly are, without a doubt one of the kindest souls I have the pleasure of meeting. Your kindness through my tough time to just deliver one pizza to me is one of the kindest, most sweet thing. Marios, you have made my week with your act of kindness and humanity. Thank you for taking my call and order and delivering my pizza. I don’t think anyone from any other business would do the most wonderful thing that you have done for me today. ( I am home bed written with a broken tail bone that I’m recovering from and couldn’t pick up my pizza and my card expired and only had cash. Marios heard what I was going through and delivered pizza and kindness) . Pizza Hut Menai should be acknowledged for the staff, their great service and great pizza. Businesses these days only look at a dollar sign but I believe Marios looks at this business with care and treats his customers like gold. Thank you for being who you are. Dear god, the arrogance, rudeness and lack of customer service that exists here is astonishing. The employees are a joke

We attempted to order from the MENU displayed at the counter. Which was the loaded pasta deal, which had one loaded pasta, one large pizza and a drink.

The employee at the time, could not understand that we wanted the deal which was so clearly displayed at the counter. He had to get someone else to help. Once he got help, he refused to give us the deal. Not to mention this older fella of an employee, was rude when we tried to point out the deal, did not believe the deal existed EVENTHOUGH it was CLEARLY displayed on the counter menu. When it finally got through the deal EXISTED and was DISPLAYED.

He told us it was ONLY ONLINE EXCLUSIVE which is absurd, with it being displayed on the counter with the rest of the menu, why would I walk into a physical store to see an online menu?!?! What an absolute joke of an employee, customer service and...
