Appalling service and terrible food!! Our pasta was hard and flavourless. We purchased a Groupon for $19 which stated 2 course Italian and you received one piece of bruschetta and a Greek salad to share for stater. The salad tasted like it had not been washed and then for main the owner said we could only have a small pizza but no seafood or a pasta dish with no chicken or seafood. The Groupon voucher said no seafood but it said nothing about not having chicken!! The manager was very rude when explaining what we could order and stating we could not have pasta with any form of meat. At the end when I was paying I asked about the Groupon not stating anything about no chicken dishes and all she could give as an explanation was that she had asked Groupon to state that. Most pizzas or normal pasta dishes were $18-$22 so I see no value in buying this Groupon. I would not recommend this place in fact I warn against wasting...

During our dinner, I noticed highly inappropriate mannerisms coming from the owner towards waitress. It was an appalling and shocking site to witness and I have serious concerns for workplace sexual harassment at this restaurant and will be investigating. In the meantime, the food was questionable as the meat tasted somewhat off and questionable of its use-by date. I would urge people to not support this business until their workplace relations are of a professional standard-the waitresses...

Place we could call “home” every single time one of our group of friends is having a birthday party celebration. Rene’s Restaurant has become our place of tradition with it’s wonderful and pleasant service, comfortable seating, background music and dining experience for many years now. Taste of authenticity with various delicious Italian dishes is always a wonderful experience to celebrate birthdays amongst friends. Of course it doesn’t have to be birthday. Come in and see...
