Revolution at Como — Restaurant in Sydney

While the owner was friendly enough , The rest of my Experience at this cafe left a hell of a lot to be desired . Firstly the tables where dirty and sticky and this was explained away by the owner as they had a huge valentines dinner and a full booked cafe the night before . {big deal} I ordered the sweet corn and zuchinni fritters that came with sauted baby spinach and a advocardo salsa . Well there was no zuchini in it , there was no baby spinach , i got rocket instead [ which i hate ] and when asked if there was any chilli in the dish i was told NO but they had sprinkled chilli powder all over my plate . When we asked for water we where given a cafe bottle of water straight from the tap it was not cold . my guest's lunch was dry and also full of chilli powder . As we where getting ready to leave a group of Elderly people arrived and where refused entrance to the much larger section out the back of the cafe {which would have made it easy for them with their walking frames } and yet again because they had the funtion the night before and there was glass wear on the tables. REALLY . Whilst the place looks nice clean and tidy do not be decieved. I personaly would never eat or invite anyone to eat...

Popped in here saturday gone as I was delivering a wide load to the railway. There was nervousness of me walking in to the shop (yes i was masked due to the covid hysteria) and I didnt even notice the whole front of store open for window service. 2am start I was blind and only thinking coffee lol not to mention beautiful dogs out front of the dog friendly cafe. Staff kept their composure well 😅

I went to grab a coffee on a Sunday morning. As most do these days, I went to pay with “tap and go”, on my phone. I was asked if I had cash, I said I did not. The lady serving me said that it was fine this time, but next time I would have to pay cash as the merchant charges are too much for purchases under $10.
