Sawa Rbina — Restaurant in Sydney

Every visit here has been a bad one. First time I came here was for the Ramadan Iftar buffet, what a joke. We didn't know it was a buffet, but they forced our group to participate in the buffet, they said we were NOT allowed to order of the menu until later on. So it was either wait an hour until they allowed us to order of the menu or pay for the 'buffet.' After a long day of fasting we didn't have enough energy in us to go to another location. The buffet opened at 5:02pm (Iftar time) and they closed it at 5:28pm (YES 26 MINUTES!). I thought i'd try a little of everything to get a taste so I knew what i wanted; and hence didn't waste food. By the time I decide to get up and enjoy the so called 'buffet,' it was already packed away and closed. What a WASTE of $35.

Giving them a second chance the next time I came here was with 8 people, the service was appalling, the three waitresses were so rude. And the chef had a disgusting attitude to match, further complemented by even worse food. I returned an item back to the kitchen due to their mistake, which they admitted. I could here the illiterate chef complaining from the kitchen.

So overall, from my personal experiences I would AVOID this place unless you enjoy overpriced and flavorless food and bad customer service, it's truly a bad experience. Your honestly better of going Jasmin or Al Waha, both within a few minutes of this place.

EDIT: Thanks for the reply owner, but the issue wasn't the advertisement of the Ramadan buffet, we didn't mind paying for it, but fact that you closed it within 30 minutes after starting it. Not 6:30 like you just said. Please don't lie. I personally don't believe 30 minutes is enough time to open ones fast, pray and eat dinner is sufficient. We came to this place all the time never said a word when the got the wrong burger WHICH HAPPENED ABOUT 4 TIMES BUT the one time i said its the wrong burger i get told i should of told him it was a kids burger my son and i both told him he just wasn't listening some of the straff are SO RUDE are so unfriendly maybe it depends on who you are???

Ok its sun 22nd april my son and i just went to this place stood there 5 minutes to be served the guy severved 3 customers while just looking at us. Then started talking to his colleague still not serving us then another guy walked in and he got served straight away so my son and i walked out as it was obvious we were not going to be served!!! A great meddle eastern place A combination of taste food, lovely and cosy setting and super friendly staff It is one of my favorite place for casual gathering with friends at night time to play some dominos or cards with hot or cold drinks and shisha But I also have been to this place during the day and I was surprised with the variety of breakfast menu.
