Walked into Dadoun the Meat Master expecting a good meal — left disappointed and annoyed. First red flag: the guy at the counter. Looked like he was running things, but honestly, he’s completely out of place at front-of-house. Zero professionalism, zero customer service — might be better suited somewhere in the back, far from paying customers. I placed my order at the counter — a meat platter — and was told to pay later. Sat down, started reading the reviews… that’s when I realised most of the 5-star hype is for the butcher next door, not this new restaurant. The reviews specifically about the actual restaurant? Mixed, some even bad. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt. Fifteen minutes later, the same guy who took my order comes to my table and asks what I ordered. Seriously? You took the order yourself and now you’ve forgotten? Another 15 minutes go by (that’s 30 mins total), and a group that walked in 20 minutes after me gets served their food. At that point, I’d had enough. Went to the counter to cancel my food and just pay for the drinks. He tries to tell me “it’s coming.” I asked, after what? How do people who ordered way after me get their meals first? His excuse: “that was a different waiter.” Irrelevant. I ordered first — simple. If you want this place to have any shot at survival, get rid of the clueless manager at the counter and hire someone who actually understands hospitality. Oh, and don’t ride on the butcher shop’s reviews. This restaurant is a completely different (and disappointing) experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We visited DADOUN yesterday and honestly, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is so inviting — beautifully decorated with a warm Lebanese touch 🇱🇧✨. The staff were super attentive, and to top it off, we even got to meet the manager who personally came out to make sure our meals were looked after 👏. What makes this place truly special is that they have a butcher right next door 🥩🔥. The meat is cut fresh on the spot and cooked perfectly over charcoal, which you can taste in every bite. The platters came out loaded with generous portions, beautifully presented, and at very reasonable prices. The food? Absolutely outstanding. Everything we tried was spot on — • 🥙 Meat skewers: juicy and cooked to perfection • 🍋 Fattoush: crisp, fresh, and tangy • 🧆 Kibbeh Nayeh: the BEST I’ve ever had • 🥗 Tabouli: refreshing and full of flavour • 🫓 Hommos & Baba Ghanoush: smooth, creamy, and so tasty The whole family was beyond happy ❤️. We even had lots of leftovers to take home, which tasted just as amazing the next day 🥡. After visiting many Lebanese restaurants over the years, I can honestly say this is #1 on my list. DADOUN is officially my go-to Lebanese restaurant from now on. Well done to the whole team 👏👏👏 — a truly five-star experience 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

One of the best Lebanese meals I’ve eaten in my life. You know the guy with me said “enjoy this because 90% of your brethren in the east will never come the distance to know the difference”. He is right. Lebanese In Granville is another world of Lebanese. To note : chicken wings on skewer, lamb, baba, toum, chilli sauce and more. A top top recommend. Best kibbe I’ve ever eaten . Meats had a great melange of hot coal cooking with aromatics.

BBQ Restaurant Review

I want to begin this review by saying, I didn’t have major issues with the food itself. The chips were an unsalted, soggy mess.

The real issue is the customer service.

I called the restaurant to make an order and was put on hold.

I was able to drive to the restaurant and find parking and stayed on hold until I walked in to place my order - 18 mins and 48 seconds.

When I placed my order, I spent $120.

I waited for 15 minutes.

I was told my order was ready.

I got a box and three small containers - all of the fattoush an additional side I had ordered.

I checked the order on the table outside and realised multiple things were missing.

The chips, the sambousek, the garlic, hummus, baba ghanouj, tabbouleh and chilli that was supposed to go with the mixed plate for two I had paid $80 for.

If I had not checked, I would’ve been sent home with a roll, the meat and a fattoush.

I was displeased with the manager, his response and general demeanour. He would be better suited to being in roles that are not customer facing.

Don’t blame the young waiters.

Don’t blame the 4 small groups of customers in your restaurant.

Blame your quality control.

$120 is a lot of money and to almost be duped is absolutely disgusting.

“I added more chips” as a sorry? It doesn’t cut it.

This place really needs to fix its customer service.

I should’ve asked for a refund when I realised the order was incorrect. I shouldn’t have to point at the menu to tell you what’s in...
