Scots club does good meals and has your stock standard lagers on tap, in short it's just your average RSL/sports club. Nothing mind blowing or anything. In regards to the team itself, the culture of the team isn't a good one, I remember training started in February about 8-12 weeks before the season started.
From the outset, I remember when I got introduced only 4-5 of the guys shook my hand or spoke much to me in the first few weeks and the rest of the side didn't even bother showing up for training. A week out from the first game we didn't even have a team, plan or anything set out. Then before game day, all these people who didn't bother showing up for training get selected to be in the team?.
Then after we lost, people on the team who didn't bother showing up for training or didn't prepare themselves for the game were complaining that they lost, what do you expect?. After a couple of games in I thought to myself "95% of the people in this team don't want me here, they have all been playing together for years and I have come in and they don't like it, plus why am I putting in all the hard work and putting my body on the line for people who don't respect me?", so I ended up leaving.
After I left, only one person bothered to message me and see what was going on so that pretty much sums up how they thought of me. Where as some guy who hadn't played with them for two years was getting regular messages begging him to come and play.

Read moreLocated at 29 Burrows Street, Arncliffe, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This is a rather small club situated right next to Arncliffe Railway station 🚉. It’s accessible for people in wheelchairs and other mobility issues as there’s a lift 🛗 and a ramp at the front door. There is a disabled toilet 🚻 but it’s located on the ground level which is quite inconvenient if you are already on the main level eating. The menu is very basic, not a lot of thought or imagination has gone into it. For dessert, you only have the option of cake of the day. The staff were pleasant, I just found the manager to be a little abrupt. The prices were pretty typical for your average club and as St George Leagues Club has taken over management of this club, you get members pricing if you present a St George Leagues Membership Card. I had the Chicken Schnitzel and chips which cost $26.00. It was ok 🤷♀️. Most of the people in my group were happy with their meals though with the exception of a couple of people who found their meals tasteless and dry. My experience here was average, not sure if I would...
