I walked into the cafe with my friend and we were seated by a young female waitress. I got up to go to the bathroom because I was really desperate to go, my friend remained at the table and sat alone, reading her menu and a louder man (I think he's the manager?) who was bald just yelled at me and said that I can only go to the bathroom until I've purchased something. I'd never been to Little Bay before, and I asked him where the public restrooms were and he pointed to a Nursery home. I walked around for about 20 minutes and asked several cafes for the toilets and it was a completely different direction to where the man pointed. Whilst I was talking to him, he abruptly passed the phone to someone else and told them to find my number in the system to send a replacement meal. Did not apologise or speak to me directly. I understand restaurants get busy but as a Manager or Owner there needs to be better customer service for when there is a mistake with someoneās order. Edit: A year and a half later, and I finally get a response from the rude owner. After reading through all the other negative reviews, itās clear thereās a consistent pattern of poor service and rude staff. I treat people the way Iād like to be treated, but that respect wasnāt shown here. If you keep brushing off constructive feedback, good luck to you.
