Recommendations from the community/Facebook groups and so I had to try it… Being an Asian foodie, I guess I know what I’m looking for and just to note my tastebuds will differ from each and everyone of you. There is only two Thai dishes that make or break a Thai restaurant. Again, this is my opinion and may differ from yours. 1. The entree: The humble, not-spicy-at-all (according to my standards) curry puff. Let me tell you, you’re in for a treat. This entree is superb! Crispy and fluffy on the outside and well matched and blended in with the filling. Have it with or without the sweet chilli sauce. I certainly did. The second dish I rate all Thai restaurants with is the famous chicken Pad Thai. If this is good, then the entire menu is fab!! In my case unfortunately it was not fab! Though it had all the traits for it being great, it did miss something! It was flavourless. They went hell light with the tamarind sauce! It was like they replaced tamarind with soya sauce. Usually you can see the sauce on the plate with the mix it or at the end of your last bite, or on the take away container. But I don’t see any on my take away container. Pic attached. I’m sorry this is not a good Pad Thai at all. I rate the Curry Puffs a 5/5 but the noodle dish 2/5.

The restaurant is near and industrial area but well located. There is ample seats to accommodate around 60- 70 people in there. We went for a dinner after a long drive and ordered the pad thai chicken, Panang curry with steam rice , thai fried rice and cashew nut stir fry with oyster sauce. The pad thai was a bit too sticky and chicken little raw and chewy. The panang curry was good with loads of chicken but lacked veggies as it only had snow peas along with chicken. The cashew nut stir fry was not good as it had quite mushy and dry looking broccoli and veggies which were not tasking fresh. We asked for mild options of the above so kids can eat too but except the panang curry and steam rice everything was spicy. I was told by the lady that thai rice as spicy only and you should not have ordered that. This is thai level mild which is not what we expect in Sydney here ? Mild means mild but I think the lady was a bit rude. Anyhow the other young waitress was kind enough to get us steam rice instead of the thai rice. The parking is ample and the food is average with good portions. The service was quick and good except that lady. 😜

I’ve found it - the best Thai restaurant in Western Sydney. Forget about Holy Basil and Thai Pothong when you have this gem serving authentic, flavourful food with amazing service. We’ve been to more Thai restaurants in Sydney than you can count, and my father went to university in Thailand and says that this is as authentic as it gets. We always order the Thai fried rice, crispy soft shell crab, crispy pork belly, grilled chicken, fish with papaya salad, and more. They also have the famous fried icecream and their servings are large! On top of this, the staff here are so friendly and caring, the waitress Shanelle always provides the best service, alongside Colin and his wife. We have had several large family events at this restaurant and they easily cater for kids with extra high chairs, and make sure the table is wheelchair friendly. Parking is abundant and super accessible. If you’re looking for a hit Thai restaurant for a weeknight dinner or a large celebration, it honestly doesn’t get better than this.

Very rude boss/ manager lady that seemed asleep on the back booth tables when we walked in and told that we couldn’t sit back there with our pram and had to sit at a 2 seater with a pram we then just sat at a table that was suitable for the 3 of us after many dirty looks from the staff for not sitting were they wanted us to and also for not leaving our pram at the door aswell we ordered and my food taste was nice but the chicken was raw to the point you could see link inside the boss lady peeled herself off the table to walk over to me when I signed for her servise she then told me I was wrong and that her staff don’t cook under done food I pointed at it and she then grabs it with her fingers and squeezes it and tried to say it wasn’t underdone I had said okay would you let your kids eat that one peice of chicken in your hands and she looked at me with a look to say ( okay I get what you mean ) I then thought okay she’s understanding she walks of and slammed the plate on the counter and yelled at the staff pointing around saying we’re saying the food is raw and no taste nice I then walked over and told her hey no I enjoyed the taste just not the raw chicken she then snapped and told us to leave and don’t worry about paying my wife was still eating her panang curry that wasn’t mild more like hot to extra hot at best and she was told don’t worry you don’t pay just go even know my wife was happy to pay and eat her food we were made to leave and followed out and I can only guess as I can’t speak their language but I feel we were humiliated in their language on the way out as after she yelled each time the other staff laughed with her and pointed at us I feel terrible that my daughter and wife had to go through this with me I was recommended this place by someone that had told me the food IS good there just the one staff ( the boss lady that sits around all the time ) but other than that it’s good well I now think my friends had just gone on a good day because our whole time was shocking The only good thing is that I now know that I like the taste of pad Thai only if the chicken was actually cooked that’s all Thank you sorry for leaving low review just trying to help the next...

I was hoping that Thai Hanuman Minchinbury would be somewhere close to the deliciousness found at Charmed by Hanuman Thai in St Ives (which is a must stop for me after a day at the beach in Summer!) but... it's far from it in quality, deliciousness and atmosphere. It unfortunately a very average Thai eatery, which is such a shame, because Western Sydney has so many average Thai eateries we are crying out for something better! The atmosphere is casual, family focused but a little cold (I understand that in such a big new building with very high ceilings, it's hard to create a cosy atmosphere). Staff were polite and friendly.

The warm duck breast salad (a favourite of mine at the St Ives restaurant) had the same horrible dressing as the Thai noddle beef salad (some bright red, thick, artificial dressing) and the duck was over cooked. Pad Thai was yummy as was the satay chicken. Would I return? No. I understand they are trying to cater to everyone hence the addition of some 'Aussie Meals' (e.g. fish and chips) but you can't cater to everyone if your standards are to be high. I had high hopes for this restaurant but alas, it doesn't stand out at all when compared to other Asian restaurants in...
