Zambrero Minchinbury — Restaurant in Sydney

Terrible food, disgusting customer service & No Phone Contact. Placed my first order via Doordash, as my daughter was hungry I ordered the Triple T Deluxe Burrito, one with lamb, the other vegetarian. Received order much sooner than quoted by Doordash. Received 2 small wraps in foil no way of identifying which was the meat one and which was the vege, as I don’t eat meat, we had to dissect one of the wraps and still couldn’t see any meat. The triple T burrito is supposed to include triple cheese, triple sour cream and other triple ingredients, also supposed to be toasted and contain gaucomole but none visible. There was barely any filling, very small all was cold, no appearance of cheese, the wrap was white and cold, not toasted. I got the other wrap and unwrapped a little to find little filling, it was also cold and small, no ingredients as in their menu description. I tried calling the store, left several messages but no callback, I called the driver, asking him to get the message to the store to call me back but no call received. I constantly called the store but no answer. It was 20 minutes before closing and drove to the store with the food, by this time I was so annoyed and I could see the lady in the store was on the phone as I approached the counter. She eventually got off the phone but wasn’t interested in hearing my complaint, she wasn’t interested to hear what was wrong with the meal, I tried to explain these burritos were not triple ingredients but she wasn’t interested. I then asked for money back, I noticed she rung up on the register $26 dollars, I told her it cost me over $32, she handed me some money, I don’t believe it was the correct amount I paid, no apology, no nothing, she just wanted me out of the store. I reminded her this is a business and she should be answering the phone instead of making me come to the store during lockdown, care factor, Zero!!! I then went to faithful Maccas. My first time, definitely my last time and forget their expensive burritos, just get a wrap and throw some lettuce in, that would be a better meal than Zambrero for sure and you don’t have to tolerate bad customer service!!!

I fell in love with the Zambrero Nacho plates in Perth WA, they become a stable go to take away. So I was thrilled to find them here when I got back home. The first large grilled chicken Nacho I tried was a little spicy,not what I was used to getting, but still good but what I got a couple of weeks ago was disappointing for me.I am sorry to say I was unable eat the meal.The amount of hot spices,chilly presumably, was just too much for me, not at all like my old favorite chicken nachos .BUT as Zambrero had become a favorite of mine I went back to the store today and spoke to both the Manager and wonderful staff and explained how much I enjoyed Zambrero’s foods but not a hot spice fan. We had a good conversation, discussing current promotion and that my old favorite chicken will be returning in the near future Look forward to its return. Thanks for always making my lunch nice and tasty and hot whenever I get it through Uber. It is now the peak period where everyone is out getting things ready for Christmas. So just remember to the staff there never stress as it gets busy remember to always stay positive in a hard situation.
