I've been hitting up XS Espresso in Minchinbury for the past six months, and man, their location and vibe are unrivaled! The place always feels welcoming and buzzing with energy, plus the staff are super friendly. Big shoutout to you guys for that!
If anyone from XS management is reading this, I've got a couple of small suggestions that could take this place to the next level.
One thing that's become almost iconic here is the small cookie they serve with every tea or coffee. However, I've noticed a bit of inconsistency lately. Some staff members remember to bring it, but others completely forget. I mean, come on guys, consistency is key! We've even had occasions where other tables got served, and we had to go back for a spoon. It's not a massive deal, but a small attention to detail would go a long way.
Speaking of detail, it would be awesome if you guys expanded your menu to include more vegan and vegetarian options. My family and friends would be stoked and more likely to stick around for brunch instead of just grabbing a quick tea or coffee. The demand for plant-based choices is booming, and having those options would attract a wider range of customers.
Overall, I've gotta say XS Espresso has built a solid reputation as a friendly and lively spot in Minchinbury. The majority of the staff are super welcoming and accommodating, and that really adds to the awesome vibe. But, hey, let's up the consistency game with those cookies and spoon deliveries! Oh, and don't forget to dive into the world of vegan and vegetarian delights. It's a win-win for everyone!
Thanks for hearing me out, and keep up the great...
Read moreAbsolutely garbage food and terrible service Ordered the roast cauliflower and burger and chips. I received my meal and my daughter received hers some time later, that was the first thing that ticked me off, there’s nothing worse than going out together for a meal and receiving the meals separately. The cauliflower was hard (raw) and cold, I had this dish some time ago different owners I’m sure, it was absolutely beautiful but this time it was not edible, you may as well eat raw cauliflower. As for my daughter’s burger, she would’ve got a better, healthier meal at hungry jacks for a third of the price, the chips were not deep fried, they were obviously cooked in an air fryer, cold, dry and dark in colour, if we wanted air fried food we would’ve stayed home. We complained to staff that the cauliflower was raw and cold and was told that it’s precooked, frozen then warmed in microwave I’m guessing. then shortly after we were told by the same staff member that they are closing but other diners were not told of them closing. I then googled their opening times which shows they close at 10pm. I called the store to confirm and was told they stop taking orders at 9.50pm. I believe we were told they were closing as we were no longer welcome after complaining about the inedible food they dished up to us. That was definitely my last time at XS Minchinbury, disgusting unacceptable food and same goes for the service, this place doesn’t care about the customer, they only care about charging high prices for rubbish food and getting rid of customers as soon...
Read moreOrdered banana bread and soy caramel latte Paid at 9.51am, 2 people walk in around 10 sit next to me and within a couple of minutes their drinks came out, I see the person who ordered before me with a family all her food coming out so I assume surely mine is coming then I see more people who ordered after me getting their food, waited patiently, my banana bread came at 10.06 no butter but a dollop of cream and some garnish chocolate and strawberry. People like butter with their banana bread not sprayed cream, guess my fault for not asking but every cafe always ask for butter or put it on the side. The banana bread was at least ok but needed the coffee for the slight dryness. The food looks good but the service not so much when I asked the guy roughly how long until I get my coffee I was blatantly ignored it finally came after I finished my banana bread at 10.11 no sorry for the wait then the people get their food next to me and they were told sorry for the wait. The coffee is not my favourite but that is a personal opinion on coffee, the soy milk was done perfect although I don’t think caramel was added as I could not taste even a hint of it or again this could just be the type of syrup. This is the 2nd time I have come here and they couldn’t find me and the food coming after other people lesson learnt. I have been to xs in Penrith and never have had such issues other than them being busy which is understandable but when you order banana bread when there are people ordering meals after you coming out not...
