Filling Amount: 4/5 Bread: Crispy roll was fresh. Delicate crust that was crispy. Price: $5 regular, $8 for crispy roast pork Taste: 4/5 Overall Rating: 4/5 Mayo, pate, coriander, cucumber, shallot, daikon. I was offered the choice of soft or crispy roll. Plenty of carrot, but sadly it didn’t appear to be pickled. I enjoyed the crunch of the thick cut daikon sticks. Roast pork roll came with a generous heap of chunky meat. The crispy crackling skin was excellent but the meat itself was a bit dry. The roast pork appears to be from the loin or shoulder, lacking the usual tenderness and moisture that is found in pork belly. There was enough salad, mayo and pate to balance it out though. This shop is a bakery and fish and chips shop combined into one. They had at least 5 staff working there at lunch time and I was served quickly. Local police officers popped by to pickup a quick lunch while I was there. The shop takes EFTPOS and has a few tables and chairs for customers who want to eat on site. There’s a park next door with picnic tables too. Overall, the rolls here just scraped a 4/5. In this area, it’s about as good as Lalor Park Hot Bread. If the carrot was pickled and the pork less dry, this place would score higher.

Edit #2. Went back, paid attention, asked for additional fillings and watched as she very hesitantly placed one extra piece of onion on the roll. The staff here training. Flavor still good. - Amended since contact with owner: The server messed up our order for the bahn mi but the flavor was really good. The pastry on the pies were fantastic leading me to believe they could have amazing pies but unfortunately the one I tried was not to my taste. I have kept the original rant below for reference but in hind sight I could of paid more attention and corrected them as the mistakes happened or asked for extra fillings. - We ordered 2x Bahn Mi, one with chili and coriander and one without but instead we got one with chili and one with coriander. Flavor was ok but the sandwich was lacking in fillings. Only one stem of spring Onion and one stem of coriander. Looking through photos from other reviewers confirms this is consistent but there are so many great Bahn Mi places that pack the roll with fillings I don't know why people would want to continue going here. We also wanted to try the pho pie for something different. Pastry is excellent but the filling is just overcooked, gluggy noodles and star anise. Would not recommend.

Cutest, neatest little pork roll I've come across in Sydney. Ordered the crispy pork roll unfortunately it was a little dry to my liking... but different strokes for different folks. Spotted the pho pie advertised on the window though wasnt game enough to try. Points for creativeness...its a bit of a mixed market this end of town so i guess always good to try something new to see what works...good luck...

Love a little local hidden gem in Blacktown… there is no need to Cabramatta or South West region for a delicious banh mi šŸ„– or a refreshing Iced Vietnamese Coffee ā˜•ļø!

My partner and I go to order is the Roast (Crispy) Pork Roll w/ Salad on the Crispy Bread Roll (you get the choice of Soft or Crispy) w/ 🌶 and Mushroom Pie + Bacon Cheese Pie 🄧 and sometimes I need a pick me up I’ll also include the yummy Iced Vietnamese Coffee!

Great alternative to grab good breakie or lunch on the go without having to buy fast food! There’s so much choice, breads, cakes, pastries and...
