The Little Marionette at UNSW — Restaurant in Sydney

I’ve dined here around five times, and three of those experiences were extremely disappointing. This is the worst service I’ve ever encountered in my life. That said, the coffee beans here are among the freshest I’ve had. It’s a shame such poor service ends up ruining good food.

The first time was last year when I ordered an iced latte. I waited a long time, and when the server finally brought it over, her attitude was terrible. I noted her name as Angelica. The second time was around February this year when the semester began — they gave me the wrong cup by mixing mine up with a professor’s, and the staff didn’t even offer an apology. Today, it happened again. I ordered a coffee, and the service was complete chaos. All the cups were piled together with no clear system. Little Marionette - a good day starts here! Simply outstanding. A fantastic selection of the finest Arabica. This is not only the best coffee on campus. It's my favorite in Sydney! The crew, always in a good mood, courteous, just the way you'd like it to be in your favorite cafe.
