This place is terrible for a place of work. The staff members were constantly making inappropriate comments and say they were just joking. If something involves teasing/poking fun at someone, you CAN NOT say it is a joke.

I am withdrawing the 15-star review and would give them 0 stars (or even negative stars) if possible. If I could take those comments as jokes, I would not have resigned on September 14.

One staff member was constantly making inappropriate comments about my body. For example, in June or July (I can not remember the exact date), when I was washing a knife, the manager said to me "Ray you better be careful so you don't chop your thing off."

When the manager was on holiday in Greece, his nephew has peer pressured me into swearing and has been teaching me an inappropriate gesture, claiming it to be "How Greek people greet each other." He has been constantly making inappropriate comments about me and asking personal questions.

One of the staff members was constantly picking on me. She ruins everything I did and makes it seem like everything was my fault.

My only fault was for me not to have resigned earlier. Unless you are OK being harrassed and poked fun at, I would advise strongly a-gainst getting a job there because both the manager and his nephew think...

I had a really bad experience in this place. I sat there with my friend, she bought her lunch there but I had brought my own lunch. One of the waiters told me that I had to leave because I wasn't purchasing anything there. I told him we all were going to buy coffee afterwards but he insisted that I had to leave but my friend could stay. He was very aggressive, and just with me. I saw more people with food from somewhere else but the guy only told me to leave. I had not had this kind of problem before in any other shop at UNSW. I have always had lunch with my friends in several shops at UNSW and the food is always a mix coming from different places but with drinks or extra food bought at the place where we sit. We always pay for something. Honestly, If this is a official rule of the place, I think is quite stupid because they are loosing customers and money. In addition, you don't need to be so rude...

Bought food there today, got charged TWICE on my card. They don't give receipt, so I only found it out by checking my balance like 5 mins after. When I approach to them say they charged me twice, they claimed the first one didn't go through, its my problem not their's. I showed them my bank APP, they said they can't return my money cause it shows pending. I was mad and refuse to go, and ask them to give me something in writing so I can come back when it goes off pending. They then start looking around, found TWO receipts. Then they give my money back and told me not to use card next time. This is already the SECOND time it happens to me.
