High Cross Park is a small but well maintained area with a memorial plaza where you can sit and enjoy the outdoors, have lunch, reflect on life and learn a bit about local history.
There is a memorial to air raid trenches that existed during WW2 with the outline of where they were shown by the paving design with seating and information provided.
It's a beautiful spot to visit and is easily accessible by all, however its detracted by the noise from significant traffic during peak times.
