Absolutely disgusting food - half of it was literally greasy, oily items that were clearly from the Coles frozen party food section. Poor vegetarian options, mains (which didn't come out until about 11:30PM) were pretty horrible.
Service was bad, we had to keep asking them to replace the food items that we had finished - not something you should be having to do at a supposed banquet!
The live music was SO loud that the day after, my ears are still partly deaf. To make matters worse, it was not even that good. It went on for about two hours at 95-97 decibels, surely there is some kind of health and safety law against this kind of thing? One only hopes that the damage is not permanent!
The only redeeming factor of the evening was the belly dancer, who came on for no more than 10 minutes after 11:30PM. Unfortunately, her aesthetic appeal was not worth the price of being deafened and nauseated by both music and food for the prior three hours.
$50 a head later, painful, deafened buzzing ears, and a sick stomach, and I would recommend that you attend this restaurant only if you do not value your ears or...
Read moreLast weekend I celebrated my birthday at Tony's Table with friends - we knew it was good because we'd eaten there before. Due to the size of our party we had to have the set menu - something I was initially hesitant about, having had a poor experience at other venues. I couldn't have been more wrong. We were able to alter the items on the menu to make sure all diets were catered for without any problems. The food was absolutely amazing (and plentiful!) - so fresh and delicious. It's hard to single out one dish (well, maybe the arnabeet) as everything was excellent. Oh, and the owners and staff couldn't have been nicer or looked after us better. I couldn't recommend Tony's Table more highly either for dinner for two or a celebration. Thank you John Paul, Gladys and your team for a...
Read moreI've been to dinner as well as hired the venue for a function. The food is incredible, and as a Lebanese Australian I can say the food is some of the best I've had in a restaurant in Sydney. It's the closest I've had to home cooked quality.
The service is very nice and hospitable. John Paul, his parents and his wife Gladys are so welcoming, generous and caring. They ran our function with so much care ensuring the comfort of our guests. They provided us with set up times, and were flexible around our schedule and the menu. There was plenty of food for all to enjoy and our guests all said they felt like they were with family. The layout of the restaurant is new, modern and spacious and perfect for sit down events. I highly recommend Tony's Table for dinner, catering...
