Ordered two iced coffees. Asked for cup tray. Young girl goes to hand me the cup tray. Cup tray has not one, not two, but THREE COCKROACHES ALIVE AND CRAWLING ALL OVER THE CUP TRAY! she continues to hand me the tray. It wasn’t busy. I was literally the only customer there in the arvo. I politely asked her for a new cup tray even though I just wanted to walk out. She said yes. I’m not even mad at the young girl, she is clearly learning and inexperienced. I’m mad at the supervisor she went to to show the cup tray too. This woman didn’t even apologise, didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I was just handed a cup tray covered in bugs. She just handed me a new one.
Poor training and even worse customer service. If we have bugs crawling over our takeaway trays then that also signals to me sub-par cleanliness and hygiene. As a hospitality worker I was shook.
Chef and owner also bickering in front of me about trading hours and communication errors.

Read moreI used to come past pretty often with mates when I lived local. The food has always been okay, prices are probably on the high side but thats all fine, take it or leave it. What really gets me at this joint is the attitude from staff and now I know where it comes from. I came back to Cronulla to visit family today and stopped for some food with my partner. While sitting at the table designated for people waiting for takeaway, the owner (or at least a bloke who walks around like he is) walks up to the table we're sitting at chucks down a Pepsi and a plate of food (while we're sitting there!) and tells us to "move to that table" pointing to another table that he also could have sat at himself then sits himself down and starts ripping in to his lunch! Food delicious but check the credit card machine before you tap. Unfortunately, as at a lot of establishments, they don't show you the screen so you blindly tap the machine to avoid looking like you don't trust them. I was overcharged. I realised when the transaction popped up on my phone. I tried to get it rectified but was told the boss wasn't there and they didn't know how to refund. Staff need to be enabled to manage genuine mistakes. I wasn't annoyed about there being a mistake, but I was annoyed there was no remorse for this mistake...
