North Cronulla Beach — Attraction in Sydney

This is one of Sydney's best beaches as it stretches out on a long curved coastline its great for surfers due to the large waves... further up the coastal beach hill is Wanda's reserve with great surfing waves... Here the view of Cronulla's beaches from Mitchell road & car park areas is spectacular in particular at the top of the hill looking down at Cronulla's foreshores.. in the lower part of the coastal beach hill is Dunningham park. This area has Picnic tables/benches green lawn/ hills with tall trees surrounding a children's play ground overlooking Cronulla beach this area is close to the restaurants located around the beach... Due to the large waves & many rips occurring within the waves.. swimming here needs to be done with care between the red flags where life guards are on duty.. This area only is considered safe to swim by the life guards on duty for swimmers safety..

Further down the long stretched beach is the rock pools or known as the Cronulla baths.. Cronulla beach has a intriguing history where women had separate bathing areas which separated part of the beach for women only this area has history inscription stands describing how social restriction activities occurred at the beach dividing the men from the women during the 1950 to 1970s. This area has unique wooden & rock sun bathing lounges where the women were to bath, sun bake swim or to spend time in special built change rooms etc... This area is located near the rocky coastline of Cronulla near The esplanades... Long strolls are enjoyed above the rocky beach on the hills where many apartments are located on the long coastal strip with beautiful views of the coastline & open sea or on the lower part of the beach where light hiking can be done on the rocky...

Beautiful colourful beach with long coastal beach walk. Just few steps walk from Cronulla train station. Got many affordable restaurants around. My favourite restaurant around that are is in front of Cronulla train station named Paris Seafood Cafe. I have been to Cronulla twice and both visit I had my brekky and brunch over there. Beautiful stretch of beach in Cronulla. Excellent and scenic during the late afternoon and evening hours. Perfect location to spend a weekend. Nice calm waters and the waves are medium. The white sands on the beach are very comfortable. Great picnic spot while enjoying a relaxing bath on the beachside. The location is a walking distance of about 15 minutes from Cronulla station.
