Some friendly constructive feedback: need to put more sauce on the burger eg fish burger just dry no mayo or tartare detected, no tomato or cheese- nothing just lettuce it was very plain and dry. The fish was fresh and nicely battered but that's it. The chicken burger was very scarcely filled, the chicken fillet was super thin, not enough salads/burger filling. The chips were okay but not 100% fresh. The food was served quickly but more effort and thought needs to be put into the construction of the burgers. $9 for a bacon and egg roll without cheese on a cheap Vietnamese roll. Add a soft drink and cheese to make $16! When I commented on the price I got an unfriendly, sarcastic response. My roll was tasteless and dry despite ordering bbq and mayo, and had only one egg and a slither of bacon. Been coming here for several years, but stopped 12 months ago when the new owner took over and I had a run of disappointing experiences. Best takeaway in the Shire. Love the burgers and chips. In the mornings I will sometimes purchase a egg roll. Never had a issue with the food. Prices are a little steep they not long ago hiked the prices up by about 50 cents to a dollar on most items. Staff are always really friendly and helpful. They have plenty of cold drinks.
