Firstly I’m a marsfield local and love supporting business in the area!
My husband collected our order from the shop, when he came home I asked him where was the garlic bread? He mentioned he had ordered it but at time of pick up he was occupied with our toddler.
So, I called vinnies to ask if we could get the garlic bread dropped off if they had any deliveries due out soon (as we had just picked up pizzas and sat down to eat with the kids)
I was so upset to be told by the staff at vinnies quote “it’s YOUR problem not mine” and that we didn’t not order a meal deal!
Hmm... so after being rudely spoken to, I asked to talk to the manager. He supported the waitress and my husband explained to him that online via menulog a meal deal is available with 2 pizzas and a garlic bread and that’s what we ordered.
Staff continued to argue with my husband and I.
They are insisting there is no such thing as a meal deal with 2 pizzas and a garlic bread.
as we said, look up menulog.
Totally can’t belive how I was spoken to by both the lady and the male manager.
All I was after when I call was a “yes we’re sorry we didn’t add the garlic bread” instead I seriously got a lecture about why my husband didn’t check the order when he picked up, they told me it’s my problem and took no feedback on board around us ordering from their menu which offers meal deal pick ups!!!
We previously ordered at vinnies weekly, and I’m sorry to say but I can’t support a local business who can treat customers that way.
It’s not about the garlic bread it’s avout their attitude.
We will NEVER eat there again. In the wise words of their staff “it’s their problem...
Read moreI’ve been a big fan of Vinny’s pizza for years and my gut certainly respects the pizza I’ve been putting away. I’ve watched staff members nature from students Malin’ a bit in the side to fully fledged paid up members of the Vinny Pizzeria clan. Tonight I ordered the family size (all for me) Mexicana with extra cheese, $19.00 but I highly recommend the Godfather and Vinny’s Midnight Special. The garlic bread is mouth butteringly awesome. You could eat that alone and feel like you’re on a world tour with a 1980s heavy hairdo metal band in Pisa Italy. Lasagne is something I’ve tried from Vinny’s, not bad, nice price and with a Greek salad on the side, yummy-yumbo-jumbo. Good food , good people, great pizza and in Eastwood. Man twenty years ago no one could tell me that I’d be living in the burbs chomping on awesome pizza. Parking is a real hassle as Vinny’s is smack bang in the middle of food central Eastwood, just off Balaclava Road. So drive deeper and park further rather than fussing about looking for the nearest spot. You’re gonna’ eat a pizza a few extra steps will do your heart good. Also there’s a drive through bottle store right next door to Vinny’s. If you time it just right you can pick up the beer ask the dude in the bottle shop if you can leave your car get your pizza (I did this tonight). Enjoy Vinny’s pizza. Lovely and delicious and...
