The interior of the restaurant is quite shabby and looks tired. The decorations looked ancient, like a dynasty setting that was past its usefulness. There were a number of people though, who seemed to be happy enough. My sister in law recommended the place for the food, so it probably lives by its local reputation. The seats were comfortable; I sat on one while waiting for my order. However, the lady serving was dressed in neat traditional wear and was very friendly and helpful. Without her attitude, this review would only be two stars. I ordered a mult-person takeaway pack. The variety of selections was very good. The flavours were enjoyable but not exceptional; like many Chinese restaurants. Probably will purchase food...
Read moreDon't be put off by the tired 70s ambience. A bit like a trip back into time. It hasn't changed since it was called the Pleasure Inn during the 70s and 80s. Even then, it was very basic.
However, in return you get courteous and prompt service, as well as generous portions of exceptionally tasty food at very reasonable prices. It's our go-to whenever we feel like a take-away...
