A year ago review: Look no further this place has the tastiest bbq pork in the area. U got to buy some n try it, it has a sweet smell n aroma so fragrant u want more than one piece. It has the Hong Kong style cantonese taste. Must buy the bbq pork, next is the roast pork with crackling n the roast duck. They have had their shop featured on newspaper article so they have made a name for themselves.. Always busy n has a line of people waiting to get takeaway... And when there is a line u know they r busy n the food is fresh... Don't mind a little wait it is well worth it if u want great tasting food your taste buds will yell for more... Read moreWORST PLACE IVE BEEN TO IN A LONG TIME. Don’t be fooled by the high reviews. Their high ratings are from the deal for a free drink if you write a 5 star review. The reviews don’t reflect anything of what I experienced at all. The food, service and atmosphere was shockingly unbelievable where you can rest assured I would never return again. The service was so slow throughout. It took 3 requests and half an hr to refill the side dishes. We had a cake and asked for the table to be cleared but the staff was slow and had to apparently clear other tables before ours and it was unbelievably Smokey so after another half an hr we got fed up and left. It was so Smokey I was coughing and I was concerned for my elderly in laws. The food was too salty and over priced. Even the cheese on the rice cake was the wrong type of cheese. Read moreThe food here is generally delicious - the roasted duck and chicken are both tasty, and the prices are reasonable. However, there’s an ongoing issue with the sauce (plum sauce for the duck and scallion oil for the chicken). The female cashier frequently forgets to include them unless specifically asked.
I’m not sure if this is intentional, but it’s frustrating to repeatedly face the same issue. If there’s a policy change (e.g., sauce now require an extra charge), please communicate this openly rather than inconsistently omitting them. A small reminder at the counter would solve this.
