The prices of these dishes are just too expensive for the quality. The spicy cold noodle is mainly noodles, nearly not as much veg as in the photo. 4 pieces of spinach. 16.50 is ridiculous. We asked for egg since it has egg on the picture and they said ‘no egg’ we said ‘oh but it’s on the photo’. “Oh you want egg?”. Obviously. In response to the owner’s reply- we did not want a big meal, it was just a quick small bite until we got home. No way was I going to pay another $17 for a meal of similar quality. Veggies look spread out because we mixed it around. Noodles and Gochujang are so inexpensive to buy. You need to take notes from Bibimbar in Chippendale- they have bibimbap for $14 and the amount of rice to vegetables with egg is more generous.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time last night and we are already talking about our next order. Amazing!!!!!! My ramen was delicious and my husband had the Udon, our son the Korean chicken. It is pure comfort food that is good for the soul. Our son ate every single thing on his plate, which never happens. This place is an absoloute gem. We will definitely be back.

I have tried so many times with different dishes and they were all delicious. Whatever I picked, I loved it, soba/ramen/udon. Very recomended for take away or dine in. It is a small family restaurant so won't fit too many people dine in.

Incredibly charming atmosphere with friendly service!

Whilst hunting for a local place to get Japanese food, Yoko stood out immediately. With a traditional per-dish menu on the establishment's front, it was easy to determine whether or not they served what I wanted. There's also very helpful information immediately available before you enter, just incase you did not know what to expect from certain dishes, which makes everything so much more accessible to someone who might want to try something new.

On entering Yoko, I was greeted by an incredibly polite and friendly owner. It was quick and easy to order and pay for my dish, as I'd already chosen. The katsu was fried at the front of the store, where you can hear and smell it. This only added to the anticipation, while also ensuring that this food was fresh! The dish was carefully presented to me, as if it were treasure to be enjoyed.

The katsu chicken and the rice itself was perfect. The curry sauce was as expected, chicken was tender with crispy coating, and the rice was not overdone. I cannot be certain, but I believe the vegetables may have been of the frozen variety, reheated and added to the curry. Covered in sauce this didn't detract from the meal entirely, but when I go back I may ask that these be omitted, or added to the side. If you don't mind frozen vegetables then this will not be a problem for you at all! I also feel like this is reflected in the price, as you receive a large serving for not a lot of money.

I will definitely visit again, and when I do I'll pick something different from the...

Where do I begin, if I could I'd rate this place 10 stars, no I'd rate them 20, I drove past this place when getting dinner for my mother and saw it, after getting her dinner I circled back and entered the door not knowing what to expect but I was amazed, The place was clean the worker was nice and everything was clearly shown, I ordered a spicy chicken Katsu ramen, 6 piece fried dumpling and beef bugogli donburi IT. WAS. AMAZING 🤩🤩🤩, The spicy chicken Katsu ramen was amazing the broth was the right amount of spice, the chicken was amazingly cooked, the fried dumplings made me cry from how good they tasted and the beef bugogli tasted like heaven, in my opinion this place deserves to have a lot more people ordering from it because of how cheap it is and how good...

This little restaurant gets lots of good reviews. I enjoyed my visit there however my subjective feeling about this place rates a little lower than many others. The Chicken Katsu Ramen with Prawn Tempura was good and serving quite enormous. I am not an expert on ramen so I do not know quite know what was missing. I will go back and try again to be fair. I went for an early dinner - the only customer. The atmosphere inside is rather uninviting however concentrate on the food and you will enjoy it. It would not take much to decorate a little. The gentlemen behind the counter was polite and gave quick service. I thought the price was fine for the large serving - no complaints there. I forgot to take a photograph however one of the recent reviews has a pic of...
