We had a quick lunch here on a recent weekend and ordered four dishes i.e. the crispy rice salad (yum nam khao), the crispy fish mango salad (yum pla krob), the marinated fried quail (nok tod) and the sour spicy seafood soup (po taeg). All dishes are of good quality and authentic Lao-Thai dishes taste-wise. We especially love their nam khao and po taeg soup. The portion and quality of the dishes were reasonable for the prices charged.

The place was brightly lid and quite spacious with reasonable ambience for customers to have a nice and quiet meal. Customer service was reasonable for a family restaurant in a suburb like Fairfield. The V/MC logo stickers on the restaurant's premise suggests that they accept credit card payment option; however, the boss lady strongly prefers cash payment so we don't really know whether the place has credit card...

Visited here on a Monday night with family and we were the only ones there, so the food came out quickly and we ordered a bunch of dishes. Service was good and had no complaints about it. The food is authentic and freshly prepared and the flavours were great. The benchmark would be their competitor a few shops down at Lao village. The papaya salad here was better, the crunchy fried rice was delicious. I prefer the ox tongue to be more charred as it had a very strong gamey taste. The noodles were a bit on the dry side. The fried ice cream is your old school ball of bread type with the classic chocolate/strawberry/caramel sauce which isn’t was nice as the flaky pastry used at Lao village. I don’t think the food is bad and it’s probably not fair to be comparing but it’s just personal preference. Overall food and service is good and it’s very...

In the Fairfield area, there is a charming Thai restaurant that offers a diverse selection of delectable dishes.

One standout dish is the Nam Khao, which boasts a delightful combination of flavours and textures, with the crispy rice complemented by fresh, fragrant leaves.

It's important to note that the portion size is intended for one person and may not be suitable for sharing. Additionally, the restaurant provides a variety of condiments and seasoning trays upon request to enhance the dining experience.

For convenience, the restroom and washing basin are located at the rear of...
