We drop by this place after our Tulip Farm Tour. The store have a cozy ambience with a nice layout. We ordered a Filipino dessert called halo-halo and it soothes our cravings for the iconic Filo dessert. They just need to upgrade their ice crusher machine to ensured that ice is evenly crushed, but in fairness, it taste really good.
They also supported and showcased other local food and crafts in the resto. Just be mindful of the parking outside because some of the sign said half an hour only but they told me its fine to park when dining - it's your call.
The place is located within the CBD of Wynyard and close to all amenities. You can even visit Wonders of Wynyard Exhibition and Visitor Centre before or after you have a feed. Worth a try and will definitely be back to try other tucker on display.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the only Filo inspired resto in the north-west hemisphere of Tasmania. I hope they can add more Filo touch to showcase Philippine Tourism....
Read moreAbsolutely amazing! I had the Haloumi Burger and my fried had the special, sticky pork with rice. Both were absolutely fantastic, the best meal we had in all of Tassie! Our server, Tara, was so attentive and helpful. She helped me find the best gluten free option and was sure to double check everything. I was so impressed by the quality and freshness of the food and the genuine kindness of the staff. Traveling from America otherwise this would be my go-to spot!...
