Ordered toasted sandwiches in advance cause was on a tight time schedule with work, i waited 25 mins for a basic cheese sandwich... i kept trying to make eye contact and they seemed oblivious to me waiting ages. Meanwhile staff look like they don't have much to do and working very slowly there were only like 5 customers in there. Eventually the lady that served me noticed and went and checked, kitchen staff told her it was already in the pie heater all that time since i arrived. Asked for a refund as wasn't fresh. Also noticed thr girl that served me was heating up brownie and used her finger to test if warm, after handling cash etc not even washing hands first. 30 mins wasted and now i don't have time for lunch.

Previous visit again long wait time for a basic cheese toastie, was burnt and in wrapper was zucchini or something wrapped in with it from their messy counter obviously. $7.50 for a cheese toastie is a premium price so you would expect much better. Go to subway its faster, fresher and...

Ordered burger with a hashbrown/bacon/& egg. Bowl of chips & banana thickshake, i wouldnt call it a thick shake tho, More like a milkshake realy, but it was huge compared to other places i have asked for the same. I have in the past liked there Big salad boxes with chicken & egg & everything else. Good value for money here & the food is great, which is hard to find in Wynyard. Looked very busy & yes older people. But I see that as a huge positive. I would be worried if it wasn't busy. We luckily found a nice comfy corner seat. But there was spare tables inside & outside. Quite alot of seating still available when busy also. If you not into crowds take an outside seat or just get takeaways. Over all I think the menu & food...

The vibe inside is very chill, the staff is friendly, helpful and efficient and there is always some free parking available on the road.

I got a cappuccino and a blueberry custard muffin (heated up) - which is a must try. A nice crunchy top, moist inside, has the right amount of blueberries and once you get to the bottom of it there is custard waiting for you. Loved it so much, best muffin I ever had.

I recommend you take your order for takeaway and go to the Lighthouse which is just 10...
