We travel through Tasmania regularly and really enjoy scallop pies along the East Coast from St Helens to Huonville and as advertised, always a minimum of 6 scallops per pie and fantastic. A recent TV show gave this place a good review on its scallop pies so we decided to drop in on the way through. What a disappointment! I munched through 1/3 of the pie with no hint of scallop in sight so I decided to dismember the pie in search of those elusive scallops in all that yellow goop. I ended up with 1.5 scallop toddlers in the ENTIRE pie!. I took this to the manager he told me 'that's just the luck of the draw, when we fill the pies we cannot guarantee how many scallops fall in'!. (Hint: Place more scallops in yellow goop Einstein). I was very polite about it but there was no offer of a replacement or refund, just see ya later!. Big money for a lot of yellow goop with fragments of scallop. Wrong man for the job. I won't be back. The 1 star is for the coffee which wasn't bad. I won't be back til new management...

No covid19 practices being enforced or practiced when we were there, tables that were vacant were full of other peoples mess and were not wiped down. We ordered the scollop pie as we travelled from Queensland after seeing this bakery on taste of Tasmania tv program and were pretty excited to try it. The pie was barely warm and had hardly a scollop in it, underwhelmed to say the least, especially as it was the signature pie, my wife didn't finish her pie, sad because it cost eight dollars for each pie, maybe our expectations were to high. Coffee was amazing though as well as the custard slice, well done to the Barrista lady who has some great skills. Sorry to be harsh but believe this is a fair review of...

Not a bad little Cafe especially on your way through town. Five of us had 5 different things. Chicken camembert pie was starchy and not sufficient cheese or chicken, rated 1 star. Venison pie was rated 3 stars. Chicken schnitzel was pretty good and done nicely and would have gotten more stars if they didn't slather the nice crispy chips with gravy and chicken schnitzel, so only 3.5 stars. Quiche with salad and chips - Quiche was nice but salad and chips were ordinary so 3.5 stars. Turkey with salad and chips was 3. Salad was ordinary, chips was good, Turkey was sliced turkey. There is a good selection of deserts, sweets, cold drinks and a coffee machine. Large seating area indoors. Good views of street...

This is a bakery & cafe along Main Street in Sheffield that is open from 5.30am to 5pm daily. They prepare meals in the kitchen and have a nice range of breads, cakes, meat pies, sausage rolls and other counter foods. Plenty of indoor seating but you can do take-away as well. We recently passed by and picked up veggie pasty, sausage rolls and chocolate brownie with coconut which we took into Cradle Mountain and enjoyed during one of our hikes in the National Park. Everything tasted pretty good, as did the coffees ordered on the morning. Overall, Bossimis was good for us! Would happy pop in again if ever in Sheffield again.

So many food items to pick from. Fresh baked goods, wraps, sandwiches, sausage rolls and pies. Also they have a coffee machine here. Had a few mini sausage rolls. They were very moist and tasty. Also mini quiche with eggs/bacon. Also quite tasty. Very busy and packed inside so couldn’t find a spot to sit. There was a line but the service was prompt. Got a random small table & seat outside the bakery on the side of the road.

Initial customer service was warm and welcoming. Sausage roll tasty and good snack option. Hot choc was ok, nothing flash, filled with frothed milk from 3/4 to the top for the large option. We asked for two take away drinks but one came in a dine in mug but this was abruptly fixed by tipping it into a take away cup and adding milk.... Good seating area and good menu array.
