This is a real gem of a place in a part of the island not renowned for its top-drawer Asian cuisine. If you are dining-in, give yourself plenty of time because you will be competing with the busy takeaway trade - another good sign I always reckon. After the traditional openers of Vegetarian Spring Rolls and Steamed Dim Sum, we shared a Fried Crispy Skin Chicken in Ginger and Shallots and Calamari in Five Spice Sauce - both with steamed rice. The main course dishes were Chef's Specials and deserved the priority of place on the generous menu. The kitchen has cracked the art of achieving just the right degree of crispness in the calamari batter without the end product being too oily - it was a delight.
