Swims East Coast Coffee — Restaurant in Tasmania

When I planned a trip to Bicheno. I have decided to visit this highly rated cafe with 4.8 stars. Maybe I did expect too much. I'm so disappointed! About the quality of coffee. I bought cappuccino and flat white altogether. These two cups of coffee really taste like coffee water. This is really not even up to par. Because I was taking it out. We were in a really bad mood when I was sipping coffee in the car! It's a nice scenic spot. But I really hope the quality of the coffee can be enhanced. Extremely disappointing. We queued for over 20 minutes only to find out they had run out of lids so we couldn’t get takeaways in the car safely. They had also run out of some food options. The reason for my one star review though is the passive aggressive / rude attitude of the staff member. I never normally post Google reviews but I was genuinely astonished by what this business finds acceptable. A lot of small issues can be overcome with human decency and a smile. Outstanding coffee, bacon & egg roll, smashed avo and muffins and customer service. Honestly one of the best coffees we had while travelling Tasmania. Jess and Emma are an asset to the business, their friendly, sometimes cheeky, efficient customer service is a like a breath of fresh air. Joky (apologies for spelling) is a brilliant barista pumping out consistently good coffee. The banana bread is to die for and home made, toasted and dripping with butter you have to try it.
